HOPE BENEATH İT ALL

when pikachu left alain and sylveon went downstairs, heading to basement where professor sycamore's research was standing, a table with full of papers, books, maps, and mairin was sitting near it, trying to finish his research, she was de-coding some languages on a stone tablet, soon she felt a hand on her shoulder, she turned back only to see alain

"Any luck?" Alain asked, saw mairin's ryes were redder than before but not from crying, she stayed all night for the past week to finish sycamore's research, mairin shook her head to respond

"İ figured some of the words and meanings but we're missing a piece, and i can't fully understand what this revealing light is until i found that piece" mairin answered whike showing the stone tablet on the table, it has some cracks and a missing piece on top-corner, a big piece, alain narrowed his eyes at it, but suddenly

"How is ash?" Mairin asked, she knew what happened to serena as well but she never managed to find the time to check him, she felt bad about since ash was there when she needed him, this time alain shook his head to respond

"He will be better, i hope" alain asnwered, even alain was acting cold because he didn't wanted the others to lose hope, he was worrying the most, like he is to him, ash is his only friend

Ash keep walking around the city with a bowed down head and watery eyes, wherever he went couples were everywhere, he see them hugging, kissing, and smiling at each other and it destroyed him inside, it was impossible to forget about someone love in lumiose, the love city, ash never let serena's straw hat from his hand, he just keep walking with no destination, until he found himself in the park, he sit on a bench and looked at the hat

"Serena..." ash mumled as he started to cry on her hat, tears soaked it but ash didn't cared, he just keep crying on her hat, "please come back"

Suddenly a tear fell, but to ash's cap, then another to ground, then another, soon a rain started and get heavier and heavier until it became a heavy rain, then he stood up and started to head back to mansion

On his way ash was passing from an dark alley, but suddenly

"HEEEELP"

He heard a female voice crying for help, this made ash's eyes open wide

"Serena?" Ash mumbled, the sound was familiar to hers and that's how they met in the first place, serena was about to be raped by some homeless guy in a dark alley but ash saved her and she saved him, just like history was repeating itself, could this mean........

"SERENA!" Ash yelled and head to where the sound came from, a smile appeared on his face, hope begin to fill his heart but once he turned the corner, the view was not how he hoped to be

There was a girl laying on ground in bruises but she wasn't serena, and 2 thugs were standing in front of her, but those thugs were familiar

"Ash?" İt was gary, gary and paul were standing there in sweat and there was a girl unconsionsly laying on ground

"What are you doing here?" Paul raised an eyebrow as he asked, ash just stood there, saw the girl laying on ground in awe, girl looked like serena but she wasn't, then something happened to ash, he suddebly become extremelt mad

"What are you think you're doing to that girl?!!" Ash yelled at both of them, this feeling he experiences right now is terrible, this girl looks like serena and ash just thougth like what would happen to serna if ash was late back whe they met, if ash wasn't made it in time will serena be like that?
