"H-hello. My name is Shiruko Kanaro, it's n-n-nice to meet you." I bowed. I hate introducing myself in front many people. I hate being the new girl and I hate when I stutter.

"Please sit next to Kageyama Tobio. Kageyama, please raise your hand." A black haired boy raised his hand. He had a glare on his face and he seemed tall. I walked to the seat beside him. He didn't say anything and I stayed silent. This was perfect. I don't need to talk to him and he doesn't need to talk to me.

The day went as per usual. Introduction after introduction at each class as I entered. I oddly kept remembering a few boys that I was asked to sit beside. At the beginning of the day for science, I sat with the boy by the name of Kageyama Tobio. In math, I sat beside an orange haired boy that was semi asleep and semi awake the whole class. For Class 4 and 5 english, I sat between a brown haired boy with freckles imploding his on face. He always seemed to have a worried expression but he still smiled. Then, a blonde haired boy with black framed glasses whose expression never changes. He had somewhat of a bored expression and a glare engraved in his features.

The only person I knew in the entire school was Kageyama Tobio. I bet he'll forget me by tomorrow. I never really want attention drawn to me. I never liked being popular and I never liked involving myself into social activities.

Volleyball used to be a sport that I excelled in tremendously. I was a middle blocker, wing spiker, and libero on my team. Well that was until the things that happened in junior high. Most of my teammates planned on going to schools like Aoba Johsai and Nekoma. I chose to go to Karasuno because I knew no one else would go there and remind me about what happened. Nevertheless, my interest in volleyball never withered.

I wondered around the school after school and stumbled past a gym. I saw a volleyball net set up and volleyballs were in a neat pile inside a wheel bag. I took a moment to take in what I had stumbled upon. It had been three months of no volleyball. I placed my bag on the bench near the bleachers and walked hesitantly to the wheel bag. I picked one up and walked to the service line. I took a deep breath, threw the ball up, jumped and hit the ball in a downward angle. The ball hit directly in between where two players would be. Serving was always my good spot. My team would cheer my name and number when serving. Whenever I serve, I direct the ball to the opposite team's blackhole player, if they didn't have, or I don't notice a blackhole player, I would hit it in between the players. I served ball after ball after ball.

Then, the gym doors opened. I could see a black haired male holding the door open. We made eye contact and I immediately ran and grabbed my belongings and rushed out the door pushing past the male, leaving a mess for the poor male to clean up.
