XXVIII. YOU ARE LOVED

your brain will try to trick you, but don't let if fool you, honey.

you are more than those awful thoughts in your head, you are more than sleepless nights and you are more than the anxiety that clogs up your lungs.

you are a blooming flower, a rose in a field of daisies, waves crashing against the sand, the sunshine in a rainy day, the sweet smile on the face of a child, clouds that bring thunderstorms.
you're the kind of girl people write stories about, you're fragile yet strong, you think and feel too much ( you should just let yourself go more ), and you're filled with so much love.

you don't think anyone can reciprocate that much love so your brain tells you to leave, that no one feels the same way as you.
but, sweetheart, your brain has never been more wrong.

there are people who feel like you, about you.
you shouldn't leave, you are wanted and needed.
don't leave.
there are people who care, about you.
let them care and don't go away.

because there are people who love you, for all that you are.

-- there is us.
( for sophie. we love you. )
