"JACE, I'VE HAD ENOUGH WITH THIS BEHAVIOR...GET OUT OF THIS ROOM RIGHT NOW, OR I WILL BUST THIS DOOR DOWN." My father pounded on my door.

My breath quickened.

"Honey, calm down! I TOLD YOU TO LEAVE JACE ALONE!" My mom screamed.

My heart tightened as I put my head in my hands.

I can't let them fight over me...I need to talk to them.... I thought.

"It's time." I breathed.

I'm going to tell them about what's been going on these last few weeks, and my feelings for Riele.

Sweat trickled down my face.

"Sweetie, I love you, BUT IF YOU DON'T MOVE OUT OF MY WAY...I'LL MOVE YOU MYSELF." My dad stomped his foot.

I ran to the door.

"YOU WOULDN'T DARE." My mom screeched.

My hands were sweaty as I tried to unlock the door.

"Cmon....Cmonnnnnnnn" I jiggled the door knob.

It was almost unlocked.

"OH YEAH?!" I heard my dad come closer.

"Please...please." I begged.

Suddenly it unlocked, and I jerked it open.

My mom fell right on top of me.

She must've been leaning on the door. I thought.

I fell head-first.

Ouch. I thought.

"Jace?! Honey, are you alright?!" My mom rolled off of me.

I groaned.

My head began to throb.

I cuffed my arm around my head.

"Son, are you okay? Jace, look at me." My father pat my face.

My mom blew air into my eyes to stop me from closing them.

The cold air pierced my eyes, and they slowly opened.

"Oh, thank you God. Sweetheart, please get me some ice for him." My dad sat me upright.

I heard my mom get up and leave the room.

"Keep your eyes open Jace...Keep your eyes open." My dad grabbed my face gently.

My head throbbed even more, but I kept my eyes open.

But the urge to close my eyes and take a nap was tempting.
