-Demyx X Reader- Starfish and Dancing Waters

You quietly walked alone on the large beach, watching the tide move in and out as the cold water splashed on your feet. You enjoyed the calmness of the waves, every once and a while A seagull would fly overhead and chirp. It was the perfect morning. Then.. it all went down hill. Literally.

"[NAME]!!! LOOK OUT!!!"

You quickly spun around to see a boy running towards you. he had dirty blonde hair that was slightly spiked and risen at the top, and he also.. *sigh* had a starfish stuck to his face. You tried to run, but couldn't get away in time before being crashed into by the boy, Demyx.
He shot up off of you after realizing what he had done.

"Ohhhh my god [NAME] I AM SO SORRY!!"

He panicked and quickly picked you up off of the ground, placing you on your feet. You heard chuckles and laughs coming from a distance behind him. Axel.. Of course. Demyx scanned you up and down, seeing if you had gotten any cuts or bruises from the fall.
You couldn't keep your eyes off of the massive red starfish on the side of his face. You couldn't help but to giggle. Eventually, you fell on the ground laughing. Dem looked down at you, very confused. You stayed on the ground, still hysterical laughing, for a bit, till axel walked over.

"See Demy? I told you she'd like it" axel said as he patted dem on the back.

You stood up and poked the starfish on dem's face and continued laughing, "DAMN DEM, I ALWAYS TOLD YOU SOME DAY YOU'D BE A STAR"

Axel, along with Demyx, laughed at your cringy pun. After everyone stopped laughing, you attempted to get the starfish off of dem's face.

"[name]... [NAME]!! OW!!"

"HOLD STILL I ALMOST GOT IT"

"NOOO HAHA MAYBE YOU'RE RIGHT, WHAT IF I DO WANNA BE A STAR"

"1... 2..."

"NO PLEASE DON-"

"3!!!!!"

Demyx screamed as you ripped the starfish off of his face. A HUGE red mark started appearing from the sudden force of the starfish being removed. Dem softly touched the spot where the starfish had been removed, and screamed again.

"Aw Come on dem it couldn't have hurt that badly" you said as you frowned and looked at dem. "Who even put that on your face in the first place... or should I even ask" you looked over dem's shoulder and glared at Axel. Dem had a sad look on his face, like he had lost all hope. You grabbed dem's hand and continued walking along the beach.

"Don't let axel get to you. He's just a jerk"

Dem smiled and sighed, and continued walking. Then, he got an idea.
"Oh!! Wanna see somethin cool?!?"
The cheerful happy expression rose on dem's face again, and you couldn't say no to him. You did whatever it took to keep him happy. You nodded, and dem dragged you all the way into the water. You both sat down in the shallow water, and dem began whistling a random tune. As he whistled, the water slowly began to rise up, and.. dance? You were amazed by what dem could do..

"Is the water.. dancing?" You said as you looked down at the water in awe. It moved every time he whistled a note, sometimes the water even got higher. You were amazed.

You looked over at dem, he had a satisfied look on his face, like he had won an award or something. You couldn't help but smile at how proud he looked to impress you. You poked his face again, and said "hey.. does your face still hurt?"
Dem blushed and looked down. "Uh.. a little bit" he said with an embarrassed laugh. You giggled and leaned over, kissing his cheek where the starfish got stuck. His face got red, so did yours. He continued to awkwardly laugh, making his face glow one shade of red darker.

"Ya know.. maybe it does feel better"

Alright! I'll be working on two more one shots later on. I may do another today, or maybe tomorrow. But for now, enjoy this dorky Demyx fanfic lol. I'm still taking requests btw so... ya
