It burned. It hurt so immensely. I felt like I couldn't breath. Was this what drowning felt like? Was I drowning? "Hey! Are you there?!?! I'm so sorry we did everything we could! It happened so quickly..." The leader had called me at four in the morning. I could hear him but after the first bit of information he just sounded like an echo. "What hospital! Namjoon. what hospital is he at!" My words dripped with desperation.
Getting to the hospital was a blur just running. I felt like I was running for his life. If only I ran fast enough he'd be okay. If only I could reach him in time he would be okay. I remember running to the six boys and almost running past them but Yoongi caught me. Kept me from reaching him. I knew I was screaming I knew it but I couldnt hear it. It was like I was really underwater. Like I was in a tank looking onto everyone. "Please just calm down! Please there is nothing we can do!" Yoongi whispered in my ear. I don't remember much after that just waking up to Seokjin asking if I needed anything only to be interrupted by a doctor asking for his family. I immediately shot up and walked towards him. The boys behind me.
"I'm sorry. He didn't make it" That was it, all it took to completely break me. My legs gave out and once again my chest was filled with the most immense pain. It was consuming, deadly, and not going away anytime soon.
Losing your sunshine. Your oxygen. Your life source. Losing the love of your life. It felt like I was a walking corpse. I had lost it all within hours and now I had to learn. Learn to live without sunshine, oxygen, gravity, without my life source.
He was gone. When would it be time for me to heal?
