Rainy Day

"We should get inside now or we will be late"Conan told Haibara,they are outside the school gate

She just nod and slowly walk,entering the gate of Teitan Elem. School,It's Raining too much today and their uniform is getting wet.

'Rainy Day,huh!'he thought

"You know you can tell me if your feeling sad,it is not like you'll die if you do that,right?"he said

She turn to him and smirk,but he know...behind that smirk,is the sadness she keep hiding inside...

'Why?Why keep hiding the pain?If you knew I'm always here to listen though.'he thought

"Nee,Meitantei-san? Are you worrying about me?"she teased,and it made him blush.

Today,they will tell everyone that they are "transfering" in a school in America.Kenshi already finished fixing everything,from important documents all through their excuses.Conans parents will arrive later and tomorrow will disguise as Conan and Haibara's parents.

Everything is settled even Shinichi and Shiho's "coming" and the background stories.Seems like everything is already planned from the start,and when I told Burgundy(or Kenshi)about that,he just told me,"Nah,it's not me,it's the Ice Queen"then he smiled

I actually thought first "by he means Ice Queen,does he mean Haibara?" then I thought "Nah...the only one he calls in different names is Champagne" and that made me wonder what kind of woman she really is.

As according to Champagne's plan our "transfering" will be announced and tomorrow will be our last day.

"Of course! I worry for you!After all we're partners..."he said almost whispering the last word

Haibara smiled,a sad one

"Then you don't have to worry tantei-san,we are doing this for a good cost.Remember,for Shinichi and Shiho to come back,Conan and Ai have to go,one to return,other to vanished.For ones existence is the others death"

"Eh?What do you mean?how come it means death for Conan and Ai for Shinichi and Shiho to return?"he asked puzled

"Ai Haibara exist because they thought Shiho Miyano is dead,so in the first placed I actually died.For your case,Shinichi Kudo have to vanished and even if you are able to comes back some times,you were not been able to live a life the way you meant it because Conan exist"

"You see,Kudo,we won't been able to live a normal life if we won't let go  of our other seves and let them vanished,Forever.Just like when you have a Split Personality Disorder,to be able to live your life to the fullest and have your memories all yours,you need to get rid of your other personality,even if it means hurting some people in the process"she explained to him

"And you mean  by 'hurting some people' those who shared memories with the other personalities?"he asked

"Hai."

"Which means to us,those who Conan and Ai came closed with?"he asked,sadness evident in his voice

"Hai."she answered,almost like a whisper

"But why?"something inside of him wanted to object in everything she stated.

"Because it wasn't Shinichi or Shiho they shared those memories with,it's Conan and Ai.And we both know,after this Conan and Ai will never come back they will forever vanished."

He was not able to move because of what she said,does that mean he also need to forget all of his memory with Ai?After all it was Conan who shared memories with Ai,not Shinichi and Shiho?

Then realization struck him,he doesn't have any clear memory with her cause Shinichi and Shiho hardly meet.The truth is...they never had a proper introduction of each other,so...they never had a proper memory with each other,a...proper...relationship...towards each other?

And he dared to call her his partner?

DAMN!

Why does his chess feels so tight?

And why does he feel pain?

Haibara turn her back from Conan and started to walk to their classroom,which is a few steps away from them already,"If you won't move we will be late cause if you haven't noticed,the bell already rang"she walks away and entered their classroom,while him is still stuck there dealing with the pain he is feeling right now.

When suddenly,"Eh,Conan-kun,what are you still doing here?"his teacher who is a bit teary eyed asked him"Are you afraid to enter the classroom because you can't tell your classmates the news?"

"Ha?"

"I already talked to the principal and he told me that..that...that...uwaaaaaahhhhh!"and there!their teacher cried and hug him

"I know*sobs*that you and Haibara-chan*sobs*are going to transfer,waaahhhhh!"and she keeps hugging Conan

Conan just rub his sensei's back until she's ok,and as she stand's up,"Don't worry,I will help you tell your classmates"and they walk to their classroom

As they enter,he goes to his sit and Ayumi,Genta and Mitsuhiko automatically approach him,

"Hey why are you late"

"Didn't you came with Haibara?"

"Why are you with sensei?Did something happened?" are their questions

Thankfully sensei interrupt,"Ok,everyone sit down,I have a important announcement!"She said

And everyone sits and keep quiet.

"Two of your classmate will transfer to America,and tomorrow will be their last day here"and everyone became sad

"Who is it,Sensei?"they asked

"It's our two geniuses,Edogawa Conan and Haibara Ai"and she started crying again

Everyone gasped and Ayumi,Mitsuhiko and Genta seems they are about to cry...and they did.

The 3 approach Conan and Ai,Ayumi hugged Ai and keeps crying while saying"don't ,please don't do that" while Genta and Mitsuhiko Just hugged Conan while crying.

 And when Conan look at Haibara,he saw...,he saw how a glimpse of tear came from her eyes but she hides it through her bangs.

'This indeed,is a Rainy Day'he thought as he let a single tear fall from his eyes.

~tomorrow for another update,and I guessed it will be long again*sighed*.But anyways,only more than 2 hours left,so I'll greet you guys already,
