Emily's POV
"SHAWN!" I shout from downstairs.
"YES?" He yells back.
"ARE YOU ALMOST READY? people are almost here!"
"Yeah coming love!" His footsteps are heard from the steps as I see his tall muscular figure.
"Okay so the lights are hung, food is cooked, oh my gosh did I get drinks? Oh god I forgot drinks wonderful this i-" I was cut off by some soft pink lips attaching to mine.
"You talk to much when you're nervous babe." I laugh and kiss his cheek while walking into the kitchen.
"Well I'm sorry, this is our first Christmas party together and I want it to be good." I smile.
"It will especially with all our friends and family okay." I nod looking out the window seeing mine and Shawns parents had arrived, then Ian, Brian and Matthew. I see Aaliyah run out the car and to the door.
The doorbell goes off a million times before I can get to it.
"EMILY!!!" She squealed. She hugged me so tight I thought my insides were gonna pop out.
"I missed you so much oh my gosh." She said hugging me again.
"Wow don't even give your brother a hug. Ya know its not like he's be touring the world lately." Shawn says sarcastically. She rolled her eyes as she walked over to Shawn and hugged him.
"I missed you more though." She giggled.
"Hurtful." I laugh.

Once everyone was here we all talked and ate and talked and ate then played some games. Then finally opened presents.
"So Emily this is for you." Shawn smiled handing me a box that small. I took it from his grip and opened it.
"A ring?" I asked
"I'm not asking you to marry me yet. But I am asking you to promise me something okay?" I nod.
"I want you to promise me you'll always be here for me. After the thick and thin. You promise to love me. You promise to take care of me. Can you do that?" He asked.
"Oh my gosh yes I can!" I smiled getting to hug and kiss him.
"Merry Christmas babe."
"Merry Christmas Shawny boy."
