Y/n's POV
4:59 p.m
In one minute he should be home. Just one more minute and he'll walk through that door and tell me "babe I'm home!" just one more minute.
5:00 p.m
And cue,
"Babe I'm home!" Shawn yelled. I smile. Right again.
"In here!" I laughed.
"What's so funny huh?" He smiled.
"Oh nothing." I smiled back.
"Well I'll tell you one thing, it's freezing cold out there. Maybe tomorrow we'll have some snow."
"That would be amazing, our baby's first snow." I smile looking down at our 1 month old daughter.
"Let me see her, you can go and make some dinner while I sit and snuggle with this cutie." I laugh.
"And there we have it, it's back to normal. Me cooking again." I laugh and head to the kitchen.
Once dinner is done I head to put our daughter to bed. Once that's complete me and Shawn lay in bed and watch some t.v before we fall asleep.
The Next Morning
I was woken earlier than what I would like, but I sat up and put my hair in a bun, put my glasses on and then some sock.
God it's freezing in here. I make my way to the baby's room and pick her up to sooth her crying. Once she's done I take her and put her in her Pack n Play while I make breakfast.
While I continue to make breakfast I just so happen to look up and from the window snow was falling and covering the ground.
"Oh my gosh." I whisper.
"It's snowing like crazy." I whisper again. I gotta tell Shawn. I look over and see that the baby is asleep so I run up the stairs and jump on Shawn.
"Shawn Shawn Shawn Shawn Shawn!!" I squealed.
"What, gosh what?" He yawns.
"It's snowing outside!!" He jumped up and put on some sweats then ran downstairs.
"Oh my gosh!" He smiled.
"It's real Shawn! It's a California snow day!"
