"Thank you Lucy!" Libby said excitedly.

"You're welcome. Take good care of him for me okay?" she said to Libby who nodded back to her.

Levi began opening the gift bag and his eyes lit up as he pulled out an ipod from the bag. "Whoa an iPod? Do Mom and Dad know you got this?" Levi said to her.  I was just surprised as Levi was about this.  "Thank you Lucy."

"They don't know about it yet but I'll talk to them when we go downstairs. " she replied.

I took this as my opportunity to speak up "Mom, knows about it. Why the iPod Luce?" I questioned as I walked into the room and sat on her bed.

"How long have you been there for?" Lucy asked with a smile on her face.

"About 5 minutes or so." I said as I walked over on the bed. "How come you got him an ipod?"

Lucy sat down on the bed beside me "Because Mom I thought if he gets sad about missing me that he could text me. He can only text people who have an iPhone, iPad, or iPod. I put you and Dad's numbers in there too. I know it's a lot but he's almost 12 now."

"This was very thoughtful of you Luce. You're such a great big sister." I replied as Libby began to make her way into my lap.

"Look Mommy she gave me her bunny." LIbby said as she held up the stuffed worn out bunny rabbit.

"I see that. You have to take good care of it." I said as I placed a kiss on her cheek.

"Are you okay with me having the iPod Mom?" Levi asked.

"Yes, but there is going to be restrictions for it. You know that Dad and I don't like you guys on electronics all the time." I replied.

"Good I'm glad you're okay with it that way if Dad isn't you can save the day." Levi said and I couldn't help but laugh.

"Just so you know Levi I'm going to be bale to keep tabs on you from school so you better be good while using that thing." Lucy said and I couldn't help but chuckle. She was a lot like her Dad when it came to her younger siblings.

"Dad will be fine with it. I'll talk to him." I said with a smile then turned to look at Lucy. "You have to get going baby."

"I know. It is time for me to leave." she replied.

"I'll be good Luce. Thank you." Levi said then hugged her.

Libby climbed off my lap then the four of us walked downstairs. When we walked outside Lucas was closing the hood of her car. Must be he was making sure everything looked good before shet set out on the road.

"Does everything look okay Dad?" Lucy said as she walked up to him.

"Everything looks great. I want you to call us when you get there."

"And text me!" Levi said causing Lucas to turn around and look at him.

"What do you mean text you? You don't have a phone. "Lucas said confused .

"But I got an iPod." he said with a shit eaten grin as he held it up for Lucas to see.

Lucas turned to look at me "What? Where did he get an iPod?" he asked.

"Lucy got it for him so that if he is missing her they can text each other. She's programmed it for him and he already knows that there will be restrictions." I replied to him.

"Don't worry Dad I got it set up so I can keep tabs on him from school too. He knows its only for texting me, you, or Mom." Lucy replied.

"Looks like my days of keep you under lock and key turned out good in the long run. I've taught you well." Lucas said as he grinned at Lucy.

"I love you Daddy. I appreciate all you and Mom have done for me." she said and now I was trying not to cry as she hugged her Dad tightly.

She pulled away then walked over to me. She hugged me and smiled "Don't worry Mom. I'll text you and call you everyday. Just remember I'm not going to be that far from you. I love you." she said then hugged me and I hugged her back tightly.

After she got done with me she moved onto her siblings. "Levi you be good for Mom and Dad. Listen to them when it comes to the iPod restrictions or I'll take it right back from you. I'll miss you but you can always text me if you need anything." she said then hugged him.

"I'll be good with it Lucy. I love you too and I'll miss you. Thank you for the iPod I'm glad I can text you." he smiled.

Then she walked over to Libby who was having more of a hard time with her leaving than any of us. She's only 5 years old so its understandable this would be hard on her. Lucy picked her up and Libby laid her head on her shoulder.

"Lib, I know this very hard on you because you don't really fully understand whats going on but I'll be back. I'm not leaving you forever. When I come back home to visit for the weekend you can have a sleep over with me in my room okay?." Lucy said and then Libby picked her head up of her shoulder and looked at her.

"Can we do our nails and have make overs?" she asked.

"Of course. And we can watch movies, and eat snacks without Mommy and Daddy knowing." she said I tried to not laugh. "Mommy's going to call me everyday and you can talk to me and remember you have my bunny. He's going to miss me too so you guys be best friends and cuddle together when you get sad and miss me."

LIbby nodded "Okay, but you have to promise you will come back." she said.

"I promise you I'll be back. I'm going to give you to Daddy okay? He can hold you while I leave." she said and then Lucas took Libby from her.

"Levi I have one more thing to tell you before you leave and that's to take good care of Libby while I'm gone. She's going to need you." Lucy said and Levi nodded back to her.

"I will take good care of her." he replied.

"Good." she answered.

Lucy told us all goodbye once more before getting into her car. We watched as she drove off and set on her way to college. It wasn't easy watching our daughter leave us but we got through. Even though Lucas pushed me all those years ago I'm thankful for it. I blocked my feelings from him for so long and I'm glad he finally broke the wall that I had up when it came to him. I think back on it and couldn't be more thankful for him breaking me because where I would be at today if he hadn't? We have the perfect family and life together. Three kids whom we love very much that we have raised very well.  Lucas placed Libby back down on the ground and together she and Levi went into the house. I turned back to Lucas and smiled.

"Thank you." I said to him.

"For what?" he asked confused.

I walked up to him and pulled his face to mine. I kissed him with a lot of passion then pulled away "For breaking me free of the denial I was in for 7 years. I can't imagine where I'd be in life if it wasn't for you not giving up on me."

Lucas smiled "Hmm, you're welcome. No way would I have ever given up on you. I love you and always have and always will. This is life is what I've always wanted. I love you forever."

"I love you more." I said and then kissed him softly once more.

And with that Lucas and I walked happily hand in hand into our home.
