Jack's POV

( X 2 Days Later X)

"You need to tell her, G. It's going on longer we thought."

"I can't tell her, Johnson. It's going to kill her."

"Jack, tell her. It's been a month and a half."

"I didn't think I'd actually fall for her, though."

"At least tell her about Cameron."

I sighed and looked up at Alie. She was laughing smiling with Nate.

"I'm not telling her, Johnson. She's happy and I'm not ruining that."

Alie's POV

"You can't do that. It's against the rules!"

"Sorry, babe, but my game, my rules."

Nate put own another card and I laughed at his choice of words. I've been laughing my ass off at In-n-Out for the past hour and people probably think I'm crazy. Jack and Jack have been talking while Nate and I play the game and I'm starting to get worried.

"I'll be back, Nate. Don't look at my hand."

He laughed and I walked over to the Jacks.

"Hey. How's the game?"

He looked nervous.

"It's good. You okay?"

He looked at Johnson and nodded.

"I'm fine."

"Well, Nate and I are almost done with the game, so we can leave soon."

He nodded and sighed. He's been like this for the past week and I can't do anything about it.

( X 30 Minutes Later X )

Johnson and Nate left, so it's just Jack and I. He's just sitting on the couch, watching an old movie about heartbreak.

"Jack? Can we talk?"

He paused the movie and looked at me.

"You were a bet, Alie."

"What?"

"Cameron bet me 1,000 dollars that I couldn't get you to be my girlfriend for a month. Saturday is a month and a half."

"I was a bet? You dated me for money?"

"Alie, I didn't think I would actually fall for you."

"Did you?! I can't believe you, Jack! I loved you! And I was actually vulnerable enough to think you loved me back. I am such an idiot."

"I did love you, Alie! I still do! I completely forgot about the bet until last week!"

"Fuck you, Jack Gilinsky."

I packed my suitcase. I can't stay here anymore.

"Alie, where are you going?"

"Better places, Jack."

"Alie, please don't leave."

"Have a nice life, Jack."

I slammed the door in his face and I started crying uncontrollably. I drove to the only place I thought could help.

Jack's POV

"So you told her?"

"Yes, Johnson, I told her."

"And?"

"What do you think happened? She hates me, Johnson!"

"Calm down, Gilisnky."
