1. Venus is the second closest planet from the sun.

3. Venus is covered by a lot of yellow-ish white clouds which block out most of it's surface colour. This is also why Venus is very hot. It is called the 'Green House Affect'. The clouds trap the sun's heat inside of the atmosphere of the planet. When the heat is trapped inside, it can't get out. Exactly like a greenhouse.
