I forgot

Aqua's POV

I sat in the library reading a book. I loved the library, it was always quiet and I could concentrate and free my mind.
"Hi," I heard someone said.
I looked up and realized that it was my friend Lacy. She was one of the few friends I had. I didn't really have a lot of friends because the more friends I have the harder my mermaid secret would stay a secret.
Only Xavier, Paige, Ammie and Carrie knew.
"Hey Lacy," I said.
"For the group project, did you get the information?" She asked.
"Yeah, I have them in my locker," I replied.
"Okay good," she said.
"I'll give them to you later," I said.
She nodded and took a book. It was similar to the one I was reading.

A few minutes later I put back my book.
"See you later Lacy," I said and grabbed my bag.
"Okay," she replied.
I walked out and waved to the librarian. She waved back with a smile.

"Babe," Xavier said and hugged me from behind. I turned around to face him and he kissed me lightly on my lips.
"How are yah?" I asked cheerfully.
"Just wondering...." he said.
"About what exactly?" I asked.
"If you wanna go out tonight," he said.
"Oh, no," I said jokingly.
He made a pleading baby face and I couldn't help but laugh.
"Okay okay," I said.
"Is that a yes?" He asked.
"Yes," I replied.
He kissed me on my cheek.
"Gottcha!" I said playfully.
He laughed and teased me.
"So where we going tonight?" I asked.
"Meet me at the park at 7," He said.
"Okaii," I said.

"Hmmm," I groaned and sat on the bed. I didn't even know what to wear.
I looked at the time, it was 6:09pm.
I took out my yellow and black short dress. Carrie bought it for me last year. I pressed it and put it on my bed then I went to shower. When I was finish I dried myself until my tail disappeared and my two gorgeous legs appeared. I put on my undergarments then my dress. I took up my black, short, spike heel shoes. Then I spun around while looking in the mirrors. I brushed my hair and put a headband around it. I put on my lotion and perfume and grabbed my purse and went downstairs.
"Bye dad," I said.
"Okay darling," he replied.

I looked at the time, it was 7:02.
I walked quickly to the park. "Xavier?" I called. "Don't bother with your tricks," I said smiling.
Everyone was leaving the park so I assumed he had reach by now.
I called him a few more times but there was no answer.
I sat beside the fountain.
"Maybe he's a little late, I said to myself.

7:30pm came and Xavier still hadn't show up. It wasn't like Xavier to forget dates, plus he asked me out so he wouldn't forget. I decided to wait until 8pm.

8pm came and no Xavier. A tear fell from my eye. After all the trouble I went through I had a date with myself. I took up my purse and began to walk through the park.
What in the world could make him forget? And he couldn't even call. I thought.
I took out my phone and called him. I listened to his phone ringing out until it reached the voicemail. I hung up and walked out of the park.

Xavier's POV

"Oh no you didn't!" I shouted at Ammie when she killed me in Mortal Kombat.
We were playing video games.
"Oh yes I did," she said and laugh.
She was so much fun.
"Not for long tho," I replied and killed her. She screwed up her face and we both laughed.
"You sweethearts want some sandwich?" My mom asked.
"Sure!" Ammie and I said at the same time.
She put it down on the small glass table beside the couch.
"Thanks mom," I said.
"Yeah thanks," Ammie said.
"Your welcome," she said.
I grabbed my sandwich and poked it in my mouth.
She laughed at my greediness and mocked me.
My reply was to give her a critical finish in the game.
"Thank you," she said a bit angry.
"Welcome," I said laughing hard.

When we were finish playing it was 9pm.
"You can stay in one of the guest room," I said.
"Thanks," she said with a smile.
I carried her to the room that Paige stayed in.
She sat on the bed and I sat beside her.
She looked at me softly and I looked straight into her eyes. She leaned closer to me. Her lips were so hypnotizing that I leaned closer. Then a thought hit me and I pulled away.  Aqua, the date, I FORGOT.......
