"You can't protect me,". Troye spits at Jacob pulling himself away from the elder boy. "I will always get hurt no matter what, stop trying to prevent that!" he yells backing himself into the nearest thing, which happened to the wall.
"I know i can't protect you, but i'm trying my best to not hurt you," Jacob swallows the growing lump in his throat as he watched Troye break.
"it's too late for that,"
