Skyler's POV
I dropped the phone and broke down.
"Wake up Skyler WAKE UP!" I yelled crying to myself.
I cried and cried and cried so much it hurt...
"This isn't real, this- no" I cried.
I layed on the ground not moving at all for a good 20minutes and only cried.
"What now?" I asked myself.
Suddenly someone knocked on the door.
I got up and opened the door and saw 2 cops standing in front of me.
"Hi young lady. You alright?" He asked.
"What do you think!?" I cried.
"We're so sorry for your lost girl but we will help you further. Just please come with us." The cop explained.
I didn't trust or wanted to go but decided to follow them. I stepped in their car and stared out the window.
This just came out of nowhere...
I didn't expected this...
I don't know what to do now...
What's gonna happen with me?...
I didn't even said that I love them for the last time...
"Please follow us" The cop said and opened the cardoor.
I stepped out the car and followed them.
I waited in the police office.
Suddenly a very nice women walked in the room.
"Hi Skyler. I'm Miss. Drailon. But you can call me Kate." She smiled.
I didn't said or do anything.
"I know it's hard and you didn't expect this but we will help you okay?"
I looked at her but didn't reply.
"Trust me. I know it's hard-"
"You don't know anything" I then said.
"Well...I do, I also lost my parents when I was a teenage" she said.
I looked at her and then back at the ground. I felt bad for saying that.
"I'm sorry" I said
"It's okay sweat heart" she smiled
"Do you want to tell me anything? About your parents or something you want to tell me?" She continued.
"I d- I just don't know what's happening right now" I said and burst out in tears.
"Shhh...It's going to be okay" she said and held my hand.
I sniffed and wiped my tears.
"We will bring you to an adoption agency. And we will try to find a family who will love you and treat you just like their own child." She smiled.
I smiled back.
*10days later*
I'm still stuck in this crazy house.
Everyone has friends here but I don't. I'm always alone. Everyday parents are looking at us, it's creepy. Parents who wants to adopt a child. But it's never me. Sometimes the principal comes to me but I usually don't say a word. I just want to get out of here! 10 days and I'm already sick of this... I miss my family. They also don't have wifi in here...I haven't called Devan or Layla for 10 days...I miss them so much...they don't know anything yet.
I sat in my room. My ugly, little room they gave me. I miss my big, beautiful, colourful room. I layed on my bed staring at the grey ceiling when suddenly someone knocked on my door.
"Yeh?" I said not moving and just kept staring at the ceiling.
"Skyler? I have a surprise" the principal walked in and said.
"Mhm" I murmur.
"There's a family who wants to adopt you" she smiled
"What!?" I asked and instantly sat up.
She smiled and made a sign I had to follow her.
I stood up and followed her to her office and saw a man and a women sitting in her office.
I was nervous and didn't dare to go inside.
"It's okay" the principal said.
I walked in her office and they smiled at me. I nervously smiled back.
"Miss and Mr. Dolan this is Skyler. Skyler this is Miss and Mr. Dolan. Your new parents." The principal said with a huge smiled.
I was a little bit confused but shake hands.
"Hi honey" Miss. Dolan said.
"Skyler introduce yourself" The principal said to me.
"Umh...hi I'm Skyler... and umh..." I began to shake.
"Shh...it's okay calm down." Mr. Dolan said and smiled.
"Skyler if you want to leave today you can" the principal said.
I nodded.
I followed my new parents to their car and stepped in.
"You ready?" My (new) mom asked
I smiled and nodded.
"Here we go. Btw I'm Sean and this is Lisa. But you can just call us Mom and Dad if you prefer. And if there's anything you want to tell us just know that we're now here for you okay?" Sean smiled.
I smiled and they started the car.
Here we go...
My new life begins...
It's going to be so different...
But my new parents are so sweet I already like them...
"Ow yeh almost forgot. Honey did you had siblings?" Lisa asked
"No"
"Well now you have. But believe me they're angels and I'm sure they will treat and love you just as much as we do" Sean said
"Yep. Ethan and Grayson are twins they're both 16. Almost 17 (WAAAA) and Cameron is your new sister she's 19. Seems like you're the youngest" Lisa laughed.
Siblings? I don't know if that's going to be a good or bad thing...
Mhm Cameron,Grayson and Ethan...guess I will meet then when I'm home...
