Sunday rolled up too fast for my liking because tomorrow would be Monday and I was not looking forward to seeing a certain person who won't leave me alone.

At Friday night's party, it was great since Aria got herself a boyfriend. The guy was someone from school that she's been seeing secretly but now it's official. Maybe he can help keep her mind off Leon which would also mean me.

Sighing, I finally decided to get out of bed. Removing the covers I got off and stretched out my muscles. I held in a yawn as I slowly made my way to the bathroom to brush my teeth and stuff.

Once I was done, I strolled out my room and down the stairs, heading towards the kitchen. Wearing nothing but shorts and a tank top, I barely registered the number of people in my sleepy state until one of them spoke.

"Hey Jade."

Moving my tired eyes on a guy, I frowned when I recognized him to be Aria's new boyfriend. Giving him a lazy wave, I made my way to the cupboard and pulled out a random cereal.

I wasn't a picky eater. No matter my figure, food will always come first for me. I was just blessed to have a fast metabolism, so I don't have to do much exercise but that doesn't stop me from my morning jogs.

Grabbing a bowl and the milk, I made my cereal and went to sit next to the boyfriend. Ignoring his staring, I concentrated on my food.

"So..." he said in an attempt to start a conversation but I shot him down with a glare.

There was an awkward silence when we finally heard footsteps rush down the stairs and into the kitchen.

"Oh Jade - didn't see you there!" Aria said breathlessly and tried to run a hand through her frizzy hair. She walked up to her boyfriend and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

"Jade I'd like you to meet Brody, my new boyfriend." She giggled, "Brody I'm sure you met my cousin, Jade." Aria introduced.

"Yeah, we met just now actually, though I didn't get to introduce myself." Brody sheepishly rubbed the back of his head. I was positive he was thinking about the time I ignored him as he waited for Aria.

I let out a snort that made Aria send me a glare. Picking up the empty bowl, I went to wash it while listening to Aria speak.

"Well Brody and I are going out and mum and dad went to go visit some friends, so basically you're all alone today." Eh, Aunt Lilly and her husband were barely at home most of the time anyway.

I was only concerned with what I was going to do with all this time.

"Sure." I said to let her know I was listening.

"Ok, well, we'll be off." I heard some shuffling and then the door opening and closing. Once the car drove away, I heard nothing but silence throughout the whole house. Putting the bowl away, I turned around and sluggishly made my way back to my room.

Might as well get dress and go somewhere before the silence kills me.

Walking to my closet, I pulled out a pair of denim shorts and a baggy, black off shoulder top. I went to the bathroom and showered. Once I finished, I got dressed and added on some eyeliner and lip gloss before walking out to my room where I grabbed my wallet, phone and my Ray bands.

Pulling on some converses, I made sure I had everything before I strolled out my bedroom and headed to the front door where I grabbed Aria's keys from the table near the entrance. I opened the door only to pause mid-step when my phone rang.

Checking it, I was confused at who the caller was.

I picked it up and said, "Hello?"

"Hey Jade." I silently groaned at the voice. I was tempted to just hang up on Leon when I thought of something better.
