Maya's P.O.V

I woke up to the sound of my phone alarm going off.

"Get up fat ass!" my mom screams from the other side of the door.

'What a lovely wake up call' I whisper, moving the blankets off of my body and getting out of bed.

You might be asking why my own mother is calling me fat right? In order for you to know that you have to know my life story
at the moment.

My name is Maya Hart, I'm 17, and I live with my mother here in Dallas, Texas. I have naturally blonde hair and blue eyes and I'm short.

Now let me tell you about my horrible life. My mom has been abusing me since i was 7. She take everything out on me. Her stress, frustration, anger. She beats me till the point where I'm to weak to move. And she calls me names like fat, ugly, worthless, slut, and bitch. Those words play in my mind 24/7.

I don't trust my mom at all. I just live with her because I have no where else to go. My dad left when I was born. I don't know if he is dead or alive and all that I know is that he left me alone with a women who I wish was dead.

I used to have a best friend named Riley Mathews. She and her family was all I had.
But when we enter high school, she choose popularity over our friendship. She is now best friends with Missy and Avery, the head of the school.

Missy and Avery go around school telling everyone what to do, like they are queens. They can also get any boy they like. To me they are know as my middle and high school bullies. They are the reason I'm afraid to go to school. They are the reason why I keep my head down in the halls. And they are also they reason why I cut and starve myself.

And now Riley is in there group and I can't to anything to make her change her mind. They come into school punching me and kicking me and tell me to die, that no one will miss me. I agree with them on that. I'm mean look at me I'm ugly and worthless. Well, that's enough about my horrible life. I went into my bathroom and then toke a shower, washing my body and hair.

After my shower I went back into my room and got dressed into this

I put my hair into a pony tail and did my makeup. After I was done getting dressed I grabbed my iPhone 5 that the Mathews got me last year as a gift for christmas and my backpack and headed downstairs.

When I walked into the kitchen I saw my mom sitting at the table with her legs crossed drinking beer. 'Nice breakfast mom real classy' I mumble, opening the refrigerator.

"Excuse me bitch, what are you mumbling about?" she asks.

"Nothing" I say grabbing an apple. She gets up and grabes it from me.

"Why won't you listen you pig? Your already fat. Your just gonna get fatter"

"Mom.. please it's all I have for breakfast" I beg
