Dear reader,

Enemy Territory is, in my opinion, one of the most interesting stories I've written. It goes against the norm, and delves into elements of the Percy Jackson and the Olympians books that are hardly spoken of. Although it may seem as though it's only a fanfiction, this story is much more than meets the eye. We, as Percy Jackson fans, nearly always assume that Percy and Annabeth's relationship is absolutely perfect, and that they love each other more than they've ever loved anyone or anything. Enemy Territory challenges that concept.

We all know that Annabeth had a crush on Luke, even if most of us refuse to admit it. We also know that Luke returned these feelings as Annabeth got older. What we don't know, however, is the lengths to which the two loved each other. Some might say that their love wasn't significant, but they couldn't be any more wrong. Their love not only affected Annabeth and Luke's actions (and Percy's jealousy,) but the outcome of the entire series. If Luke hadn't loved Annabeth, it's quite possible that Kronos would have risen.

Aside from that, this is the first story I've ever written in this style. I used second person point of you, which transforms the reader into the main character. I personally love this style of writing, because it really allows the reader to let their imagination free, and empathize with the character.

With no further adieu, I present to you a story that I hope you have as much reading as I did writing, Enemy Territory.
