The Young Swan

Ch. 1

Bella's Pov:
Graduation has just ended and now everyone was heading towards their family. I was standing with Edward and his family since my dad, Charlie, said he brought me a surprise. I mean, I am still awkward with him, but he got me a surprise.

"Hey Edward, do you see Charlie anywhere. I really want to hurry and go to help set up, even though Alice probably won't let me do anything." I ask him.

"Uh, yeah. Here he comes. I can hear his thoughts. And of course Alice won't let you do anything." He says chuckling.

I just nodded my head and continued to wait. Next thing I know is that I hear small squeals and giggling. I stop right there and turn around to see Aurora in a cute little outfit running towards me and Edward with Charlie trying to catch up to her.

"Bewa....Bewa, help me daddy is twying to twickle me." She says while hiding behind my leg. I just laugh and pick her up.

"Is he really. Do you want me to tell him to stop?" I ask her. She nods her head no, and just giggles. She looks over and sees Edward.

"Eddy, can you pwease hold me. I wanna be taller." She tells him. Edward just chuckles and nods his head and picks her up. She squeals again and starts to mess with his hair.

"Hey Bella, I know your going to a party, but I was wondering if you could watch her. They need me down at the station. If not it's okay. I'm just wondering." Charlie asks.

"Uh, yeah sure. I bet the Cullens would like to meet her. I mean she only knows Edward." I tell him. I look at Edward to see if it's okay with him. He just nods his head, and then turns to speak with my dad.

"Of course Mr. Swan. We are having the party downstairs, we could keep her upstairs. And also my family would love to meet her." He tells him.

"Well as long as it's okay with your family, and just saying, she is a very hyper child sometimes. I should've told you sooner Bella, but Aurora has ADHD, Asthma, and Aspergers, but since she is young still, the doctors can't really prescribe anything yet. But she is handling it well. Well, I guess I'm off then. I'll see you later then." Charlie says, and then heads out.

"How can such a girl have so many disabilities. I mean you can rarely notice it sometimes, but really. I mean what if sh....Edward what's wrong?" I say while stopping mid sentence. He has a look of confusion and frustration.

"I can't seem to read her mind also. I don't know why, but it's really bugging me." He says. I just look at Aurora with wide eyes.

"Well...okay. How about we head over to the house. Charlie already gave me her bag, so I guess we are ready and set. Come on Aury, let's go meet some new people." I tell her. She giggles and then Edward puts her down. She grabs both of our hands and starts skipping. Well then, I guess we're going to a party.

Unknown Pov:
I grabbed the girls shirt from her chair, and then I smelled another scent. It was a sweet smell of strawberry and roses. I headed towards the scent and saw toys all over the room. I grabbed a small jacket and took off from the house. I guess we have another victim that'll please her.
