I'll Always Remember; Chapter 19

As soon as they headed outside, I can't help but to eavesdrop since I care about Christian a lot.

"Are you going to scold me, Mom? If you will, please don't. I'm having my best night" he complain.

"No, no I won't. I just want to say sorry.. for being over protective this past few years." she pauses, "I just, you know, don't want to happen the same thing to you" she says.

"Same thing like what happened to Andrew and Dad? Come on mom, that's years ago" he replies.

"I can't help thinking about it, if it'll happen to you, it'll make me depressed. It'll kill me" she sobbingly says

"I won't leave you mom, it won't happen to me - i promise" he whisper.

"Sorry honey, sorry really. For making you hate me" she says, it seems like they're hugging - i just think.

"No mom, sorry for hating you, really" he replies, sobbing - Christian Lautner is crying? Well, I saw him once but I never heard him sob. "You should take a rest mom, It might've been a pretty long day" he continue

I hear Mrs. Lautner door shut, and footsteps heading to my room. I ran towards my bed as fast as I can "whoa!" I exclaim, tripping on a pringles can.

"What're you doing?" Christian asks, laughing. "you're eavesdropping?" he adds. i shake my head "no" I lie."Really?" he asks, giving me a weird smile, "maybe, yes. A little"

He grin at me, helping me stand up. "Ouch" I wince in pain. He let me sit on my bed and touch my ankle, "does it hurt?" he asks, touching it gently. I nod, "I don't know how to fix this" he continue. "sorry"

"it's fine really" I say, smiling at him. "Maybe tomorrow, it'll be fine" I add and winks at him. He kneels in front of me and kiss my forehead - he kissed me.

"Good night, sleep well" he says, leaning at me and smelling my hair. Giving me a good night kiss on my cheeks. He stood up and went outside - I'm speechless, that's two in a row.

I wonder if his actions are all real.
