Ophelia's POV

"I am so sorry" I exclaimed after letting go and turning away for him, so that he doesnt see my blood red cheeks. I hate when I show vulnerability, I promised my self years ago never to do so, to shut people off, cause the second I let them in is the second I start to depend on them, on love. " I shouldn't have done that," I explained apologetically, "I really am sorry, I don't know what came over me,"

"Ophelia-" he said over my words.

"-I mean that was totally stupid of me, I don't know what I was thinking-"

"Ophelia-" he said louder, but I continued to blab on apologies, not paying attention to his calling.

"-I mean how could I ever think someone as great as you, could like someone as complicated and messed up as me,-"

"Ophelia!" He shouted before grabbing my arm, spinning me round and placing his hands gracefully around my face, calming me.

"What is wrong with me?" I asked not daring to look into his eyes, just staring blank down at the floor.

"Nothing at all...,but if there were," he said lifting my head up with the soft push under my chin by his muscular hand. " there must be something horribly messed up with me as well, since I can't get this mentally unstable girl out of my head. I can't think straight when I'm around her, and when I am not around her I cant think of anything but her." He chuckled, " so tell me this, Ophelia," he said staring into my eyes and getting undeniably close to me, "do u think I should flight it, or just go with it?" He asked, not breaking eye contact, making me feel intimidated in the best possibly way, I couldn't even get a word out of my mouth, so I just smiled. "Well?" He asked, he really wanted an answer and was obviously very confused of what my smile meant. "Oh for god sake, Evan, just kiss me already." I demanded, not knowing what pushed my to say that out loud, but Evan seemed to like it because after smiling from ear to ear, he started kissing me intensely. As the fire between us grew. Just as I wrapped my legs around his waist to get more of him, my eyes lit up once again.

I stared down at him, who had now picked me up, with such unconditional passion, before noticing the glow emitting from my eyes. I quickly covered my eyes with my hands, trying to hide the the glow, to hide the feelings I had for this boy, this man, this incredibly extraordinary art work of a man.

"Stop it," he pleaded grabbing my hands before holding them against the wall I was now resting on. "Every...inch...of ...you...is...absolutely...stunning...and...unique." He said in between the kisses that he trailed along my neck. As we locked hands, up against the wall, steam began to appear. I only noticed it, when Evan stopped, looked up at our hands, before bringing them down to be examined by his delighted smile and stare. I was rather confused, and shocked, so I automatically removed my hand from his, frightening him.

"Did I burn you?" He asked nervously, looking genuinely worried.

"No," I answer swiftly, "I mean come on, I know you're hot and all but does yout ego really get satisfied by asking me that?" I joked, cocking my head and and crossing my arms.

"No, I actually meant burn you." Evan explained. It was then I noticed the beautiful onyx orange flames that rose from his hands.

"EVAN!!!!" I shouted before rapidly grabbing his hand, in hope to stop the flames. As steam gushed from within our hands, I pulled back, staring closely at my hand before noticing the clear blue glaciality that once where my soft gentil hands.

"I told you," Evan chuckled, looking down at me. "It's a power, the glowing eyes are just for show. You just need to awaken it and learn to control it."

As I stood there, paralysed, I suddenly realised what I was doing. I was getting attached to someone who recently declared to leave me forever. What am I doing?!

EVAN'S POV

Before I knew it, Ophelia was grabbing her stuff and rushing past me to get to the front door.

"What are you doing?" I asked frantically.

"Getting away from here!" she shouted. I couldn't understand, her passion was gone, the moment had ended and I was stood there like a bloody fool watching her shuffle around looking for her things.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"I can't be alone with someone who is going to leave me just like everyone else." She explained.

"Don't be stupid, I wasn't going anywhere." I chuckled, before she sharply turned around glaring at me, her eyes now shining a harsh, painful light.

"Stupid? Yes, I am stupid, stupid for letting you get in my head, stupid for ever thinking for a second that you were different, that you would like me for who I am, that you were going to stay with me." She spat, before it hit me. The last time we talked I told here I was leaving. Just as she grabbed her coat and tried to open the door, I rushed over slamming it shut.

"Legit go of the door, Evan!" She demanded.

"Just let me explain," I pleaded still holding the door shut.

"Then go ahead, explain!" She screamed, letting go of the door.

"It complicated okay," I tried to say.

"Is that it? All I get is "it's complicated" ?!" She spat marching over to me.

"It's just not that simple," I tried to explain.

"Oh for Fuck's sake, just stop being a arse, Evan!" She shouted.

"Will you just shut up for a second!" I shouted, I lashed out, accidentally letting out a gush of painful fire from within me, but the second it exploded around me, came a hailstorm of ice in my direction. The fire was destroyed, by the glacial fight she put up. I immediately used the raging fire burning up inside me to protect myself from her icy bullets that headed towards me. Her actions were obviously unintentional, a reflex to protect herself from the fire that went her way after she pushed me. I was shot backwards, finding myself on the floor. As she lay there, her blue angered eyes staring down at mine, now red with fire. Her arms curved and tensed, with icy steam emitting from her hands from recently thrown rage. As her armed destressed, her eyes went back to their beautiful natural colour, but with despair about to flow out. Her panting began to calm before she grabbed her coat and rushed out of the door, leaving me alone the lie on the hard floor with the agonising pain of the icicle that penetrated my leg.
