All Mine
19 | Don't cry

Antoine had already give Atlético Madrid a response, he'd handed them all the information they needed and the week he had left with Amelia was soon ending, he had two days until he had to leave and he was hating it. The two had spent every waking moment together without ever leaving each other's side.

Antoine had already packed everything and was slowly shipping everything to Madrid, Amelia had been helping him as the two just stood there in his dorm room closing the cardboard boxes up.

"Amelia you didn't have to help me." Antoine spoke closing the final box then setting it on the floor.

"It's okay I don't mind." She sat down the last box and proceeded to sit down next to him. He took her hand placing it in his.

"Amelia," He paused seeing a tear falling down her cheek.

"Please don't cry Lia."

"I hadn't realised I was." She said chuckling at her own words, Antoine realised how this was slowly breaking her. How much more could she take?

"Amelia this is hard for me as well, let's just please not think about it."

"Alright Anto."

Her head was down staring at the rings the two had gotten not long ago, Antoine placed a finger on her chin lifting her head up making eye contact. Her eyes were filled with sadness, anyone just looking at her could see it. He leaned in placing a big kiss on her lips, she kissed back almost immediately placing her hand on his cheek. They pulled back with their forehead pressed against each other's and eyes closed.

"Antoine I'll miss you a lot you know."

"I know, me too."

"I just can't believe there's two days left until you leave." Antoine sighed because he hated when she'd bring up how many days he had left with her. He hated this. He wasn't ready for the amount of pain he would be feeling leaving her here, unfortunately he had to deal with it.

"We'll talk everyday you know we will."

"Yes I know Anto but," She paused for a minute thinking of the words she wanted to say, "But what if we drift apart and never talk to each other again?"

"That won't happen Lia, I'm always going to stay with you."

"Alright Antoine lets just go do something for now and enjoy your last days in this cold miserable country." Amelia spoke grabbing her bag and coat determined to leave his dorm to go and do something.

They both went to the cinema watching whatever they found interesting on, after the movie they went to get ice cream and waffles at their favourite place Creams. Antoine went all out on his ice cream, Amelia was laughing at all the crazy toppings he'd gotten. She went for something pretty basic, her usual plain vanilla. After eating they walked down the streets with the sky already turning a dark colour, it was only four in the evening and the sky was already dark.

They stopped and walking into a few shops buying a few things until Antoine saw a necklace with the letter A on it. He thought he'd get it for Amelia to remember him when he's gone despite having the rings already he didn't care, he still wanted to give her the necklace.

"Lia look." Antoine called her over showing her the necklace, it was a rose gold one with small diamond on the letter.

"Wow that's pretty."

"Well I'm getting it for you." Her eyes widened at his comment, she shook her head almost immediately.

"But Antoine you already got me well us rings." Amelia said.

"So a ring isn't going to make you remember me, just let me buy it so that I know you'll always have something from me." He insisted, Amelia didn't see a point a ring was enough for her.

"But I already have the ring which is from you."

"Stop fighting it and accept it." Antoine said laughing, she stopped fighting and accepted it.

Antoine had gotten her the necklace and placed it around her neck, he liked the look of it and definitely hoped she'd keep it on at all times. They walked hand in hand along the dark streets of London, they were both freezing but they didn't care as long as they were in each other's company.

"It's getting late let's start heading back." Antoine suggested, technically it wasn't that late but he wanted an excuse to get to sleep by her side for the last few days he had left.

Amelia nodded her head agreeing they should get back, the two walked to Antoine's place as it was closer to were they were at the moment. Amelia remembered how she'd met Paul the last time she was here. They soon arrived and Antoine went straight to put the heating on, Amelia sat down on the couch and took her coat off. Antoine followed her and sat next to her placing his arm over her shoulder.

The two were so tired that they fell asleep in each other's arms on the couch whilst the television was on in the background. A few hours passed and Amelia awoke seeing Antoine sprawled across the couch, she grabbed a blanket covering him. She walked into the kitchen checking the time seeing it was three in the morning and she couldn't sleep anymore. There was a lot of pressure building up on her, Antoine was leaving tomorrow and she was definitely not ready.

How was she going to cope with the pain of him leaving her for another country? She won't cope, she most definitely will not cope with it.
