[A/N] Hey guys, happy thanksgiving! I hope you all have a nice time with your families at the dinner table on Thursday. This is the last day I am able to update until after thanksgiving break is over, just so you know. Hope you like this chappie, sorry it's so short!
I quietly ate my lunch in the far corner, while April asking for a gummy bear from Sean, and Jaxyn was sick. I stuffed some pumpkin pie we made earlier in Baking class into my mouth, along with a dollop of whipped cream. Okay, more than a dollop. Don't tell.
All of the sudden, Melody jumped up behind me, scaring the sh*t out of me. I swear.
"Soooooo, it's tomorrow!" Melody shouted at me.
"Alright, it's been decided," I started, just as I said that, I could tell she was jumping up and down on the inside, "I'm sorry, but you're not in the band."
Her mouth gaped open, like I had just turned blue. "W-why?" Tears started forming in her brown eyes.
"Welp, you messed up a bit on the solo, and I saw you snicker at me the other day." I replied, firmly.
Her tears of sadness had turned into fumes of anger. She stomped off, clenching her fists as she went to go find Kelly, her actual friend. I eyed her as she jumped up and down, screaming 'It's not fair! I did everything perfectly!!' She acted like a 6 year old having a temper tantrum because she didn't get her cotton candy at the county fair.
See! This is the reason why I didn't want you in the band! I thought. I don't like you. Nobody likes you. It's my f*cking life, and you know what? Nobody invited you. There's the door.
She looked back at me with disgust, and I did the same. A smirk played on my lips as I turned around the finish my lunch.
