[A/N] Hoi guys! I'm finally 12 and able to sit in the front seat!! YUSS!! Anywho, how was your guys' Halloween? This A/N is gonna be a little long because I have a story to tell you! Ok so, me and my best friend were walking around our neighborhood last night when trick or treating and there were these kids with their dad on a golf cart, and of course me and my friend decided to chase after them and try to get on it. When they stopped in front of a house we decided to get some candy from there too, but while they were getting candy from another house, we saw a house with a bowl in front of it that was untouched, filled over the brim with THE BEST CANDY. So we decided to go there and raid it, when we finished it was about half full. We never actually finished, instead, the dad who was driving the golf cart was shining their flashlights at his children, but then saw us. He shouted at us, pointing his flashlight. My heart just stopped. Me and my friend just looked at each other, and both whispered "run". We ran out of the court and onto the path I normally walk my dog on. I swear, the candy from that bowl is like half of our bags by the end. Lol. Comment down below and tell me your funny Halloween story! Anywho, I hope you like this chapter!

Melody met us at the empty warehouse about 15 minutes away from school. Small bands usually preformed here when they were just getting started. Even we did. The warehouse is on Jerry Avenue, the one street nobody lived on, probably because of all the noise that came from here.

It was abandoned a long time ago, you can even see fainted marks of graffiti from, like, 20 years ago.

"Hey," she called, walking through the 2 big doors at the front, lights flickering as she walked in, "I'm here!"

"'Sup." I shouted back, plugging the old amps into the outlets.

Her guitar case swung back and forth was she walked with pride, striding over to me. "Is this where I'm trying out?" her voice echoed through the building with disgust.

"Uh, yeah, gotta problem with that?" April snapped back.

"Nope!" She forced a smile onto her lips. Maybe April was right.

"Just go ahead and plug into this amp right here." I pointed to the one farthest to the right, our best one, the Marshall.

"Sweet amp dude." She commented, trying to act nice.

She quickly plugged in, the feedback screaming loudly and echoing through the warehouse. I quickly rushed over to turn it down, but instead she shooed me off and did it herself.

It took a while for Jaxyn and Sean to arrive, which was about 20 minutes late. They had said they were gonna be a little bit late, though they didn't say how late.

Once we all got settled down, she started with 4 simple chords, F, C#, G#, E. I knew those 4 chords, the chords to Holiday. The song Jaxyn had said was my favorite. She continued to play, and sing, for a bit. But once she got to the solo, she stared at me in the eye with a smirk plastered on her face.

Maybe April was right.
