3 months later

Tamir was taking me on a date tonight.

He didn't really have a reason why, he just said he wanted to take me out.

He hadn't done that since college.

That made me think he had something to tell me that I didn't want to hear.

I had on a spaghetti strap black dress, black heels with gold details, a gold watch and gold earrings.

My hair was bone straight and I barely had on makeup.

Being pregnant gave me a glow that put any highlighter to shame.

Tamir walked in, fixing his watch.

He had on all black, making me lick my lips.

"You look good, Mony." He said when he looked up.

"You too, Mir." I cleared my throat.

"You ready?" He asked, making me nod my head.

We got in his car and he pulled away from our place.

"The drive is kinda long." He said.

"Where are we going?" I asked.

"Surprise." He responded, making me roll my eyes.

I pouted but sat back in my seat.

45 minutes later, we pulled up at this art gallery.

He helped me out the car and we walked in.

It was completely empty.

"I want to show you something." He said as he pulled me to the back.

A big painted portrait of us and the kids with a hole missing was hanging.

"This is beautiful. Who did this?" I admired it.

"Uh, me." He rubbed the back of his neck.

I spun around as a smile grew on my face.

He hadn't drawn since college and it's good to see the skills never went away.

"I own this place now and it's the first piece of art in here." He said.

I walked to him, wrapping my arms around his neck, pulling him into a kiss.

"I love it but why the hole?" I said after I pulled away.

"I don't know what the new baby looks like yet." He said as he wrapped his arm around me.

Tamir never ceased to amaze me and he knew it.

"Now, let's go so I can feed you." He said as we walked out.

I smiled and nodded.

Maybe he really is serious about marrying me.
