Harmony Olivia Collins

I sat in the middle of my bed, looking at my new room.

I heard my door squeak open, seeing Kimora come in, rubbing her eyes.

She walked over to my bed, lifting her arms for me to pick her up.

I did, cradling her close to me.

"Mommy, I hungry." She said quietly.

I looked at my phone, seeing it was 2:30.

We walked downstairs together, going to the kitchen.

I set her down on the couch with her sippy cup.

I made us a ham and cheese sandwich with some apples.

I turned on the TV and cuddled next to her.

We were 20 minutes into the movie when I felt my eyes getting heavy.

"Mommy, no sleep!" Kimora said as she touched my face.

I nodded, even though I knew I was going to be sleep anyway.

She took her attention off me and put it back on her plate.

Before I knew it, I was out.

I felt myself being moved so I opened my eyes.

Tamir was carrying me upstairs.

"You can put me down." I said as I unraveled my arms and legs from around him.

He set me down and I walked away from him.

I crawled into my bed, trying to fall back to sleep.

It was pointless, I couldn't sleep in my bed alone.

I was so used to curling up next to Tamir.

I walked into Kamden's room, seeing he was still sleep.

I picked him up, taking him to my room.

He curled up next to me but by then, my mind was running.

I don't know how I was going to do this.

Tamir has been such a big part of my life.

I smirked at the thought of us beating other couples up together because they always had some foul shit to say about us.

We were horrible but at least we were together.

I can't live my life without him, I got too much invested in him, in us.

I wasn't going back to sleep anytime soon with these thoughts on my mind.

My phone started ringing, Katrina was calling me.

"Hey mamas, what's going on?" I said while I rubbed Kamden's head.

"I want to see my best friend tomorrow for breakfast." She said, sounding like she was eating something.

"Okay, same place?" I asked.

"Yeah, come get me. I'm tryna sneak out." She said in a whisper.

I agreed and we hung up.

I sat there, scrolling through Instagram and Twitter before going back to sleep next to Kamden.
