Harmony Olivia Collins
For the past couple weeks, Tamir will leave for periods of time and then come back like everything is okay.
Here I was, sitting on the couch, rubbing my stomach that had grown.
He walked through the door with a bag in his hand and looked over at me.
He came over and kissed my forehead, setting the bag down next to me.
"We need to talk." I said, making him sit next to me.
"What's up?" He said as he relaxed.
"Where are you going?" I asked him.
He smirked but dropped it when he saw my face.
"I'm getting some stuff done." He said.
I rolled my eyes.
"If you cheating, I'll find out." I said as I started to eat.
He stood up.
"Well, I'm not." He said as he left out.
Yeah, I'll see.
I pulled out my phone, seeing a text from Isis.
Isis: hair salon tomorrow?
Harmony: anything to get out this house
I locked it back, going back to my food.
Tamir was walking around the house like everything is normal.
I got something for him.
I set up the guest room so that I could sleep in it tonight with my body pillow.
I brushed past him into the room and closed the door.
"You call yourself being mad, Harmony?" He said behind the door.
I stayed silent, cuddling into my pillow.
I don't have time for that.
The next morning, I woke up, showered and got dressed before Tamir woke up and left the house.
Isis picked me up and we headed to our hair salon, where our stylists were waiting.
I sat down and she threw a cape over me.
"You can just straighten it." I shrugged as she started to do so.
"You wanna go out tonight? I feel like dressing up and hitting the town." Isis said.
"Anything to get out the house." I said.
An hour later, we were walking into a store to get new outfits.
I picked this tan strapless dress and tan heeled sandals.
We headed back to Isis' so she could do my makeup.
I checked my phone to see that Tamir hadn't tried to call me.
I rolled my eyes and threw back in my bag.
Within 2 hours, Isis and I were dressed to go out.
"I wanna go get dinner first." She said as she drove.
I nodded and sent Tamir a text.
She pulled into the parking lot.
I looked around at the empty lot.
"Guess we got here on a good day. I hate waiting." She said as she got out the car.
We walked in and were brought back to a room that was dark.
"Isis, if you wanted to kill me-" I started but was cut off.
"Surprise!" The room shouted at me.
Tamir and the kids were standing in the middle, smiling at me.
I walked over to them.
"What is this?" I said as I took Kimora from his arms.
"You'll see." He said as he grabbed my hand.
My mom took Kimora from me, making my eyes follow her.
When I looked towards Tamir, he was down on one knee.
"You'll get all the soft shit at the wedding. I just know I can't spend another day without you being my wife. Will you marry me?" He said as he pulled a box out his pocket.
He opened it, showing me the most beautiful ring.
"Yes! Yes, a thousand times yes!" I said as he slid it on my finger.
He stood up and kissed me as the room cheered.
I was finally getting what I wanted.
