Harmony Olivia Collins

"Girl, where you been?" Isis asked me as we walked to the bar.

"Being a mommy." I said with a laugh.

"How are my babies?" She asked as she called the bartender down.

"Good, good." I said.

She ordered two drinks and we sat on the stools.

"I seen Katrina the other day." She said as our drinks were set down. "She's ready to pop!"

I nodded, taking a sip of the slushy type of drink.

Isis was a good friend of mine and Katrina's because our men worked together.

She always kept it real and for that, I was grateful.

"Can you take our picture?" She asked this person walking past us.

I looked over my shoulder, seeing Tamir laughing with some guys.

"Let me go see where Denzel is. He probably fucked up." She said as she got off her stool.

We walked into the sectioned off area where the guys were.

I found a seat on Tamir's lap.

"What are you drinking?" He asked as he looked at my glass.

I shrugged and stuck my straw out to him.

He took a sip out of it.

He licked his lips and nodded his head, making me laugh.

His eyes look like they were low again.

"High already?" I asked him.

He got a goofy smile on his face and nodded.

I pulled out my phone, taking a picture of our watches.

queenmony: matching rolexes, baby, team us.

He started kissing on my neck, making me giggle.

"You letting me fuck when we get home?" He asked into my ear.

I rolled my eyes, making him laugh.

"Hey Tamir." I heard a voice say behind us.

Desiree was standing there, barely dressed.

I snarled but continued to sip my drink.

Tamir tightened his hold on my waist.

"I said hey, Tamir." She said a little louder.

He gave her a slight head nod.

"Let me get some more." He said, referring to my drink.

"What you been up to?" She said, moving closer to us.

I honestly thought she had walked away.

"Look, Desiree, ain't nothing for us to talk about." He said, irritated.

"Acting out because ya lil girlfriend here." She said with her arms crossed.

"Nah, my wife ain't got shit to do with you bothering the fuck out of me." He said.

"Was she your wife when you was fucking me?" She said with a smirk.

"Girl, you and ya tired ass can run along to the next nigga." I said, upset with her presence.

"You blowing my high, Desiree." Tamir said.

"I know you miss me, Tamir." She said as she moved even closer.

"I'm advising you to move around." I said as I stood up.

She waved me off as I stood there.

Until she disrespected me or touched me, I was gonna chill right here.

She took a step towards Tamir and I blocked her.

She stared at me before trying it again.

I raised my eyebrow, looking her up and down.

"Tamir, get ya chihuahua so we can talk." She said as she continued to glare at me.

"Ain't shit to talk about, Desiree!" He yelled from behind me.

She looked over my shoulder, slightly shaken by his tone but she straightened up.

"Fuck you, Tamir! Fuck ya lil bitch and ya ugly ass kids-" She said before I pounced on her.

It was one thing to disrespect me but my kids was a whole different thing.

I was giving her straight face shots as she fell on the ground.

She was attempting to scratch me but I was blocking her hands.

"You shoulda watched ya mouth about my babies!" I said as I slammed her head into the ground.

I was about to do it one more time when I felt myself being lifted into the air.

"Try sucking dick with a busted lip, hoe!" I screamed as I was removed from the area.

I tuned back into reality, seeing that Tamir was carrying me out the club with Isis following him, holding my shoes and purse.

Tamir threw me into the passenger seat of the car before walking over to his side.

Isis gave me my things before telling me goodbye.

Tamir zipped out of the parking lot heading home.

It was silent in the car and I tried to turn the radio on but Tamir smacked my hand away.

"You just can't control yourself, huh, Harmony?" He said in a deep voice.

I looked at him like he had grown another head.

"The shit she said to me was mad reckless but it's my fault?" I said in disbelief.

"It was just words." He said as we sped past other cards.

"She talked about OUR kids!" I yelled.

He shrugged. "Don't give you reason to act outta character."

I sat back in my seat, sucking my teeth.

"Pull over." I said in a stern voice.

He kept driving.

"Now, Tamir." I said again.

He kept driving.

I reached over the arm rest and began hitting him.

He swerved to the side of the road, putting the car in park and trying to block my hits.

"Chill! What the fuck!" He said as he kept trying to block them.

He finally got a grip on my wrists and pushed me against the door on my side.

"This why I won't marry you! This why I cheated! You fuckin' crazy, b!" He yelled in my face.

All the fight I had in me left my body.

His face saddened, probably because of what he said to me.

His grip loosened and he sat back in the driver's seat.

"Baby-" He started but I cut him off.

"Can you just take me home, Tamir?" I said as I turned to look out the window.

"Harmony, I'm-" He said but I held my hand up.

"Home. Please." I said as I put my seatbelt on.

He started the car and pulled back onto the street.

We pulled into our garage and I instantly ran in the house.

I locked myself in the guest room, sliding down the door.

Tamir knocked a few times before walking away.

I stripped off my jeans, washed my face and laid down, going into a restless sleep.
