Everything went black, my world was darker than usual. It was almost calming, this dark astral
plane. Then, suddenly, a pulse brought me to my senses, a sickening throb in my stomach, tearing
me from my meditation. I felt a wave of convulsion shoot through me, the urge to vomit killing me. A
scream tore from my sore throat and I felt a hand on my stomach, cold hands soothed me if only for
a moment.
"Solstice....breathe."
the voice was slurred to my ears, but sounded oddly familiar.
"My...son, she can't handle this child," said another voice
Uncle Lucifer's voice shook my from my delirium, I looked up into the eyes of the man who had
just raped me, Irius. Binds were locked over my hands and wrists, my stomach exposed to the cold
air.
"I...I...I HATE YOU!"
Irius laid his hand onto my stomach and the tremors ended abruptl, my body went back to that
erie, soothing calm. Lucifer left the room for a moment and brought back a large jar.
"Solstice, I need you to not hate my son long enough to get Tamami out of you."
"Who's Tamami?" I moaned
"O...Our child Solstice, you've been out cold for seven whole months..," Irius said rubbing
salve onto my stomach.
My anger skyrocketed, that pulse, that calming dark was my baby. My....baby... Is this how Eris
felt when she heard that she was having me? Did my heartbeat do the same thing to her? Was she
digusted or happy?
"Solstice," Uncle growled, "...YOU HAVE TO GET HER OUT OF YOU! Making it to full term
will kill y..."
"I won't let you kill MY baby..," I half moaned, half growled.
"Its my baby too Solstice," Irius interrupted, "...and she won't die...i promise."
How dare he assume that I would ever let him claim her! He took my purity, knocked me into a
forced meditation, and impregnated me! There was no way that she would ever be near
that...that...thing called a man! The binds snapped, and I lurched forward. I stood up to teleport out
but something kept me blocked out. Could I not move my baby with me? My escape was further
delayed by the labor pains. Irius pulled me to a large, white jar and placed my hands on the sides.
The gold engraving swirled around the jar, like a mantra or incantation. Bit by bit, I felt the pulsations
shake the jar; Irius held the jar upright to keep it from tipping over.
I kept hearing the name 'Tamami' in my mind, ringing in my ears and making it hard to focus on
anything else.
"Just say her name and it'll all be done with," Irius mumbled as the jar began to glow.
"T-T-Tamami..."
The jar shattered, sending Uncle, Irius, and I flying into the far wall. I, luckily, hit the couch. A
small, porceilan doll sat in the center of the debri. Perfectly, pale skin and bright red eyes. She
couldn't be more than six months, yet looked at me as if she was much wiser than the normal six
month old baby. Her hair curled around her round face and chubby hair stretched out toward me. I
didn't know what to do, whether to pick her up or to just look at her. Her eyes became glossy and
she attempted a crawl in my direction. The moment she reached my hand, a electric current
pushed through me, burning my arms and chest. Biting back a scream, I reached for her again, my
bones felt crushed and my heart ached painfully. Irius pulled me back from her and the tremors
vanished, but the shocks took a while longer.
"I know what will happen if you get to have her," Irius mumbled into my shoulder, "..you'll
keep her away from me...you'll stay away from me."
Everything clicked in my mind, the swirling gold was a binding seal, and the seal was etched
into my daughter's flesh. It was as if it was a part of her. Her tears threatened to fall as she reached
out for me again, I was thankful that the seal didn't hurt her. Irius lifted her up and she squirmed in
protest. A high pitched whine bled from her throat.
"Put...HER...DOWN!" I screamed at him, my body too weak to get up
Irius looked into her face and even I had to admit that the resemblance was impectable, face,
lips, and eyes, even though they held a different color and feel. My aura spiked, black swirls
encased the whole room, leaving my anger in a dangerous upward incline.
