On the longest night of the year, her skin begins to glow. At midnight on the winter solstice, every tattoo on her body awakens, whispering the same command into her mind: Mend what has been broken. The pinky promise she abandoned. The wolf that once saved her life. The lantern she left burning the night her mother died. And the broken compass she inked only yesterday, because lately, she feels completely lost. She has seven days. Seven days to repair what grief, guilt, and silence have shattered, or the ink will leave her forever, taking the pieces of herself they represent with it. But healing means returning to the icy lake she nearly drowned in. Forgiving the father she hasn't spoken to since the funeral. Reaching for the best friend she pushed away. And finally choosing the boy who sees her unraveling, even when she cannot explain why. Before the week ends, she will either lose herself completely... or find her way home.

Solstice Wraith, the daughter of two deatheaters, returns to Hogwarts for her fourth year in Slytherin House. She is an amazing quidditch player but never once tried out for the school team being that she couldn't stand to be around those who weren't in her house. Rather, she preferred to explore the grounds on her Firebolt, occasionally practicing when the pitch was vacant. What she doesn't know is her background is pure mischief. It's up to Levana to save her friends and mentor from her family member. A strange sensation from this family that gives Levana a big clue.

In this short story, Turac, the young son of a seer (shaman), has his first vision at the Winter Solstice and saves the day. This little tale is the first in a series based around my forthcoming novel "The Eye of Time", to give you a taste of the Neolithic world I have recreated there. The stories are set around Stonehenge at the end of the Neolithic/dawn of the Bronze Age and I have tried to be accurate in spirit to the evidence we have for those times in the British Isles. 'What was that?' I whispered to Cole who had gone pale. 'I don't know' he replied. 'Should we go check it out?' I asked. 'Probably just Keeling dropping a box of files or something'. 'Yeah probably' I agreed trying to reassure myself. Then another crash, this time louder followed by a bone shattering roar. Both Cole and I leapt to our feet. 'Still think it was Keeling?' I asked Cole, he gulped. All it took was one chance sighting in the car park, a high school fight and one disastrous detention for Ivy Waters and Summer Adams to be thrown into a world they had no idea existed. Not only that but they are more involved in this unknown world than they could ever imagine. A new power threatens to rise and wreak havoc and destruction on Eremay. The only ones who can stop it, could also be the ones to aid it. Ivy is the complete polar opposite of Summer as this new power rises she begins to wonder if she's really as "good" as everyone thinks she is. Summer must rise up against all odds and fight the most painful battle against her own flesh, she must leave the battle victorious or she won't leave at all, no matter the consequences.
