I look down the hallway. I then see Ryder at my locker. He spots me. I then turn around and I try to run away from him. I can hear him calling out my name, but I keep running. I run into the Auditorium and I close the door. I put my ear up to the door and I listen for Ryder. I don't hear him. I sigh with relief. I then walk down the stairs and onto the stage. The band is already here. I smile.

"Excuse me. I'd like to sing this song," I said and I hand them the sheet music. They nod. I walk over to the front of the stage. I listen to the start of the song and I smile.

Emily-Grace:

It's going down, I'm yelling timber

You better move, you better dance

Let's make a night you won't remember

I'll be the one you won't forget

I feel someone tapping my shoulder. I turn around and I see Lucas. I smile.

Lucas:

The bigger they are, the harder they fall

These big-iddy boys are dig-gidy dogs

I have 'em like Miley Cyrus, clothes off

Twerking in their bras and thongs, timber

Face down, booty up, timber

That's the way we like to. What? Timber

I'm slicker than an oil spill

She say she won't, but I bet she will, timber

Lucas grabs my waist and he pulls me close to him. We sway our hips from side to side. We do this in sync with the song.

Swing your partner round and round

End of the night, it's going down

One more shot, another round

End of the night, it's going down

Swing your partner round and round

End of the night, it's going down

One more shot, another round

End of the night, it's going down

I pull away from him and I smile. He smiles back.

Emily-Grace (Back-up singers with Emily-Grace in brackets):

It's going down, I'm yelling timber

You better move, you better dance

Let's make a night you won't remember

I'll be the one you won't forget

It's going down (it's going down), I'm yelling timber

You better move (you better move), you better dance (you better dance)

Let's make a night you won't remember

I'll be the one you won't forget, you won't forget

I walk down the stairs and I sit in one of the chairs. Lucas follows me and he sits next to me. I laugh while he acts all silly before he starts to sing.

Lucas:

Look up in the sky, it's a bird, it's a plane

Nah, it's just me, ain't a damn thing changed
