A light tap is what awoke me from my slumber, the dim lights still looked bright even if they weren't.

I felt like absolute shit. My nose felt stuffy and my head was throbbing. I looked around to see my mum's worried eyes as she studied my face.

"are you feeling okay shinji? your fever went down, thankfully." she spoke softly

"mum what day is it today?" i asked groggily as i lay my head back to my pillow

"Friday, dear" she replied

"hasㅡ"

"Yes he did, a couple of times actually but when i told him you were sleeping like a rock he decided to go" she explained

"do you want me to get you some food?"

"no mum it's fine" i reply

"well i'll be downstairs, call if you need anything" she smiled and i nodded

i grabbed my phone as soon as she went out of the door to see my messages

5 from Wonwoo and another 5 from Mingyu

1:30a.m    right u must be asleep

7:30a.m shinji it's almost closing of the gates in school where are u??

11:30a.m look i know ur mad but atleast put me on read or smth pls look im coming over at lunch time ok? I need to know if you're ok or not.

i sighed and typed a reply only to mingyu knowing wonwoo has already known/seen my situation
