Emily-Grace:
You tried to make me feel bad with the things you do
It ain't so funny when the joke's on you
Cheerleader:
Ooh, the joke's on you
Got everyone's laughing, got everyone clapping, asking
The shower then stops, but she doesn't stop singing.
Cheerleader and Emily-Grace:
How come you look so cool?
Cause that's the only thing that I learnt at school, boy
I said that's the only thing I learnt at school
My problem, I never was a model,
I never was a scholar,
But you were always popular,
You were singing, all the songs I don't know
Now you're in the front row
Cause my song is popular
Popular, I know about popular
It's not about who you are or your fancy car
You're only ever who you were
Emily-Grace and Cheerleader:
Popular, I know about popular
And all that you have to do, is be true to you
That's all you ever need to know
So catch up, cause you got an awful long way to go
So catch up, cause you got an awful long way to go
All you ever need to know
You're only ever who you were
All you ever need to know
You're only ever who you were
She walks out of the shower in a fresh, clean Cheerios uniform. She has black hair with red streaks and she has dark brown eyes. She smiles at me while we sing the last verse with me.
Popular, I know about popular
It's not about who you are or your fancy car
You're only ever who you were
Popular, I know about popular
It's not about who you are or your fancy car
You're only ever who you were
Popular, I know about popular
And all that you have to do, is be true to you.
That's all you ever need to know
Cheerleader:
It's all you ever need to know
She smiles at me and I smile back.
"You're a good, no actually, an incredible singer," I said.
"Thanks. You are too. I'm Haylee," she said and I shake her hand.
"Nice to meet you Haylee. You should audition for Glee Club. We need another cheerleader in the group," I said. Her mouth drops.
"You're in Glee Club?" She asks. I nod. "Then I'm definitely auditioning." We jump up and down.
"That's great. You know what? You should sit with the Glee Club at lunch." She smiles.
"Really? That would be a dream come true." I laugh and she joins me. I think I just found a new cheerleading friend. I guess I don't need to hang out with Cherry anymore.

Haylee and I walk into the cafeteria. We grab a tray and we hop into line. We walk up to Millie.
"Hi Millie. How's your day?" I ask. She smiles.
"It's good. Thanks for asking Emily," she said. I look at her. "What's wrong?"
"You look thinner. Have you lost weight?" I ask. She smiles and she nods.
"I may have lost a few pounds."
"Millie, I'm proud of you. That is just amazing."
"Thank you again Emily. I always enjoy talking to you at lunch."
"I enjoy talking to you too. Have a good day," I said, and Haylee and I walk over to the Glee Club table. "Guys, this is Haylee. She is going to try out for Glee Club." Everyone waves at her. We then take a seat.
"Nice to see you again." I turn around and I see Lucas. I smile. We (all three of us) take a seat
"Hey you. I didn't think that I would be seeing you sitting at this table. Are you gonna try out for Glee Club?" I ask and I take a bite of my apple. He shakes his head.
"I'm not a singing type of guy," he said. I sigh and I nod.
"I understand," I said.
"Oh my gosh. You're Unique," Haylee said. She runs over to Unique and she sits next to her. Unique smiles.
"I'm glad that I have a fan," she said.
"Oh, I'm not just a fan. I'm your #1 fan. You are my favourite member in Glee Club, except for Emily of course," Haylee said and I laugh. She laughs too. Unique just smiles. Haylee then turns around and she sees Jake behind her. She froze. I raise my eyebrow. What is she doing?
"Haylee, that's my half brother, Jake," I said. Haylee looks at me.
"Oh, so that's why Sue calls you Puckerman," she said and I nod.
"Wait, you're Jake's sister?" Lucas asks and I nod. "Wow. No wonder he talks about you a lot." Jake glares at him and I laugh.
"I gotta go to my locker. I'll see you guys later," I said. Before I leave, I realise that Ryder wasn't with us for lunch.
"I thought you were leaving?" Jake said with a laugh.
"I was going to, but I just realised something. Ryder isn't here. Where is he?" I said. I look around the cafeteria and I find Ryder sitting at the popular table. I look back at Jake. He sighs.
"He was going to invite you to sit at the 'popular' table with him, but apparently Justin is the boss of that table and you're not allowed over there," he said and I nod. I look back at Ryder and I see a cheerleader sitting on his lap. Oh my god. Tears well up in my eyes. Jake hops out of his chair and he walks over to me. He tries to hug me, but I stand up.
"I'm okay. I better go to my locker now," I said. Jake looks at me with worry.
"I'll come with you," he said and I shake my head.
"No, I'm sure that I can get to my locker by myself," I said. I run out of the cafeteria and into the girls bathroom. I look at myself in the mirror. Why was he letting that slut sit on his lap? Am I not pretty enough for him?
