I don't know how I do it.

How I still manage to smile

When I just cried.

How I still care for you

When you never really cared.

How I still hope that things will change

Or be what they used to be.

How I still write poetry for you

'Cause after all this time,

After all the pain you've caused me.

I don't know how I do it.

But I'm trying,

And I'm getting used to it.
