Chapter 23

"Greta, get to the point. What happened?" I asked seriously concerned now based on Greta's panic state.

"Sir, she's gone. I'm so sorry" Greta replied.

"What do you mean by gone?" I asked getting upset now.

"She isn't here. She left. She told me she wanted something that could help cheer her up and she must have snuck out because...."

"Don't worry about it Greta, I'll take care of it" I said before hanging up and exhaling angrily.

"What happened now?" Gio asked.

"She's gone. She snuck out" I said angrily.

"She can't have gone too far yet besides if she out there and the other police caught up with her..." Matteo started.

"I think I know exactly where she went" I said standing up.

"Well good, send Jay or Carter to go bring her back here" Gio said to me.

"No, I'll go get her myself" I said to him.

This girl is more trouble than she's worth, but she's my trouble to take care of. I was the one who got her involved with knowing more than she should. If she was just a girl who knew nothing I could care less what happened to her but she has a lot of information that she shouldn't in the first place.

Amy's POV

"Sweetie its okay. Its okay" my tried to console me as she hugged me and rubbing my back.

"No mom its not" I cried as I hugged her tightly. "He's g-gone... He's gone... They just killed him right there and... and..."

"Shh honey shh... It's okay its okay. I'm sorry to hear about what happened but I'm so glad you're safe" mom cooed as she continued running my back as I cried in her lap.

After I snuck out from Lucas apartment I headed over to my apartment to see of Katie was home however she wasn't home and when I tried calling, I couldn't get a hold of her. I didn't stick around long I just change my clothes grab some more cash and headed straight here to the nursing home. The minute the nurse let me in to see her, mom immediately knew something was wrong and so that was how we ended up here in her room, me telling her everything probably even more than I should and breaking down. If Lucas or even Mr.Cavelli knew that I was letting out information like this I'd be a goner.

"I just down understand" I sniffles as I kept crying. "I only just got him back and just like that I had to witnessed him being taken away...for good this time... I mean what happened why did they have to kill him..."

"Sweetie I'm so sorry" my continued comforting me.

After crying for hours, I had finally started to calm down and falling asleep as I laid there with my head in my mom's lap. After dosing for a few minutes as mom played with my hair, a knock on the door woke me up.

"Whose that?" I whispered as I got up from her lap and sitting up on the bed.

"Probably my nurse. I'll go check" mom said as she got up to open the door.

"Is it your nurse?" I asked after mom opened the door.

"What are you doing here?" I heard mom asked.

"Well hello there Ms.Stewart" I heard a voice say.

I looked up and gasped in surprised at who I saw walked in.
