John's POV
I watched as they hugged, laughed, and talked right in front of me I'll admit I was getting a little jealous but why should I be? She told me she never really loved me and that she only used me for her entertainment and she was happily going to marry a man that she loved and had a child with, I have a wife I can't be having this feeling of jealousy when they don't even involve her, but I can't help it a part of me still loves Nicole and I wish I could just kiss her one last time but I could never do that to AJ.
"Wow it's been such a long time." Nicole said as she hugged him again.
"I know how have you been?" He said taking her over to sit on my couch.
"I've been ok, it's just been a crazy two years." She said looking down trying not to cry.
"What happened?" He said lifting her head up by the chin.
"I got married had a baby, baby turned 1, 2 months later my husband died in a plane accident and my brother sank my company so it's just been a lot to take in." She said as she shed a tear.
"Wait you're married?" He said a little shocked.
"Technically yes, but I'm widowed." She said letting out a weak laugh." How crazy is that 20 and widowed." She shook her head as the tears just fell from her eyes.
"Wait if you were in money troubles why didn't you ask your dad for help instead of selling half your company?" He said, he made a good point why am I here?
"My brother sank those too, Alberto Del Rio saved him from having to file for bankruptcy and he owns everything now, he sends my dad a monthly check as if he were a worker he my dad has no power over anything, Alberto knew I had a son to provide for so he left me this one part it was small but I made it grow then my son started to call his nanny mom and it just tore me apart somehow I stupidly let my family convince me that JJ had gotten better from his gambling problem that destroyed my dads company so he stayed at the bead of this one and now I'm here having to take in partners." She said wiping away more tears.
"What about Nick didn't his family leave you his money? Life Insurance." He said
"Yeah I have that all in the Bank but I'm saving it for my sons future I didn't want to risk that money and me not being able to provide for him once he's older." She said getting up as she checked her clock.
"I'm so sorry Nicole." He said as he pulled her in for another hug but this time he kissed her forehead and that angered me.
"It's okay, my fault I guess for trusting my family.. anyways I'm so happy to see you, and sad that I won't see you for 3 weeks." She said grabbing her bag.
"Where are you going?" He said following her as she walked out.
"I'm going on a little vacation with my son, I'm taking him to Florida ." She said as they both walked out of the door. I watched them walk out like they were the best of friends but sadly for me they might become more then that.
"Oh that's funny I'm supposed to go next month." I heard him say from out the door.
