Once I got to the beach I remembered that I had a bathing suit in the back seat from when I was supposed to go swimming with Nick because my parents made me but ended up just going to a movie because I didn't wish to be seen in public with him, my mom knew what she was going I mean, we have a pool he has a pool but even then she told us to go to the country club. She wants other families to see us together so they know to keep away from him because he's mine well that's not what I tell the girls at school.
(Flashback)
"So you guys aren't really dating?" Lana said cornering me at my locker.
"No I don't like him." I said slamming my locker and walking away from her only to be stopped by Summer.
"Hey so I heard that Nick brought you to school this morning are you guys like a thing?" She said.
"Not really, my mom made him bring me, so he's all yours or well Lana asked me too so go figure things out with her but trust me I don't like him." I said walking away and avoiding anyone else who tried to come up to me.
Alberto sat with me at lunch and all eyes were on us but I spent the whole time telling him how amazing the other girls were and how he should date one of them and not me, hopefully he will catch on and leave me alone.

I sighed and made a quick change in the back thankfully the only people that were here, were a group of guys and girls and they looked too entertained with each other to notice the girl changing on the back of her Range Rover. So when I was ready I stepped out of my car locked it and began to walk on the sand.

I made my way to the water not looking at anyone I didn't really want to talk to anyone I just wanted to be alone for once, not get anyone's attention maybe no one here knew me I mean I'm no celebrity but if you keep up with business then you know my dad which as most people seem to assume then you must know me.
John's Pov
We were all having a good time Aj wouldn't leave my side, but I didn't really mind I mean she's a really good friend I feel like I can tell her anything she's like the sister I never had. After eating the guys and I decided to play some football. Matt told me to go long and I did, he threw the ball so fast and over me that I couldn't catch it, I then noticed everyone yelling I turned around and saw that a girl was at standing there looking into the ocean kind of facing towards us too

but somehow she couldn't hear all the yells it was like she was in her own little world I ran as quickly as I could to try to catch it, thankfully I was able to when I looked back I saw the girl stumbling back because of a wave that had come to shore she looked like she was going to fall so I grabbed her and she wrapped her arms around my neck, and we looked deeply into each other's eyes
Nikki's Pov
I was starring out into the water thinking about everything I had to deal with this past summer and only two weeks of school, Brianna's lucky she found someone who my family approves of and is so in love with if only I could find someone who I can just look at and lose track of time feel like the luckiest girl in the world, she feels that way everyday but me I feel like everyone is being pushed towards me and I can't find a love of my own, as I was standing in the water I thought really long and hard about just walking in and never walking out I know that thinking about suicide at my age with how fortunate I am I'm never hungry, I have a place to sleep, and an education that I could further once I'm married to a man that my parents approve of. I was quickly pulled out of my thoughts when I heard someone yell at me, once I turned around I saw a football coming towards me for some reason I didn't move I froze in place, thankfully a tall and muscular guy caught it and saved me the broken nose, while I was busy trying to look at his face a wave came in wrapping sea weed around me causing me to loose my balance I was about to fall back when this guy grabbed me I wrapped my arms around his neck, he faced me looking into my eyes and I was lost.
