The kids gathered in the room, discussing the recent disappearence of their teacher.
"I heard it was because of his son."
"Of course it was, what else would it be?"
"I heard he's totally disappeared. No one's heard from him, not even the faculty. I heard that he ripped his phone out of the wall and broke his cell phone, and is staying at home with his family."
"That seems like something he would do."
"I miss him."
"Me too."
The substitute looked up from the newspaper.
"Silence. Except for prayers. God knows Mr. Carson needs some."
