"Mrs. Coly?"
"Well.. I guess if that's what my boyfriend said my name was."
"Was his name Lucas?"
"Yes. Yes it is. Oh oh can you call him in here please."
"Do you want him to be in here when you receive the news?"
"News?" What did she mean news?
"Ye - yes. Okay. I'll be right back."
Suddenly she comes back and Lucas is here. "Hey babe." He said sitting down next to me.
"Okay, Mr and Mrs. Coly. As you can tell Y/N hasn't been feeling well. She's been having breathing problems and she just isn't doing all too good.. correct?"
"Yes ma'am." Lucas says.
"Well turns out when we did her mammogram. She had a lump. That wasn't benign. You have breast cancer."
When the nurse said those words my world began to spin. I couldn't breathe. I had never thought I would have breast cancer.
