Chapter 10: The Plan

To be honest... 

Naruto thought that the 4th Hokage was an idiot, to not notice how undernourished the ANBU he had was and not knowing that the ANBU didn't want to follow his orders but yet he did so with so much spite that it might be considered disrespectful... wow

ignorance is bliss.

NARUTO POV

We only have a little bit of time left before they come looking for us, and when they don't find us where we are supposed to be... I wonder what will happen? Will they search the village for us... or give up

Personally, I think they'll give up but then that would hurt the poor Hokages pride if word got out that he the yellow flash of the leaf, fourth Hokage couldn't find 3 12-year-olds in his OWN village... well shit would certainly hit the fan.

"All we have to do is survive until the chunin exams then we're home free" I whispered it, not meaning for anyone to hear but when you live in a house with people who have unnaturally good hearing...

"Ha I just can't wait for the look on everyone's faces when they see us, the real us and then realise that they can't participate in the exams" Shikamaru stated laughing his ass off.

"Yeah, though I feel sorry for team 11 (Lee,Neji,TenTen) because they have gai as an instructor but then again he is the only one other than Danzo-Sensei to train us," Kiba said

We had met the eccentric bunch a couple of weeks ago when we were sneaking into Hokage building getting a mission from Danzo-sensei when we saw them getting made fun of by the rookies and Gai being insulted from the jounin. It didn't last long and as soon as the others left we approached the group and asked if it happened often... When they replied saying all the time we were surprised that we never noticed it. We asked them if they had the choice and a place away from here would they  leave and they answered yes straight away without hesitation so... we reserved a place for them in the village hidden in the whirlpools.

"Yeah, let's get everyone together I got something to tell them"

We all exited the apartment in search of the others 

TIME SKIP

I turned to look at the group of people in our apartment,

"Alright, as you know the chunin exams are coming up" I stated looking at them all seriously,

Them seeing how serious I was immediately turned serious as well

"I have... infiltrated Jirayia's apparently unbreakable information lines and found out that Orochimaru is planning to attack the leaf village" I saw the look on everyone's faces it's a look of not caring like who cares

I sighed

"Normally I would have helped the fucker kill them all but... I have found out he is after particular people... people that we are fighting to protect... people who are with us"

The looks fade from not caring into worried, then to angry pissed even

"Well, who are they after!?" Kiba demanded

Nods of agreement going around

I sighed quietly I knew this was coming

"He is after the people with dojutsu's so Itachi, Neji and Hanabi, our job will be to protect them... he is attacking a week after the exams where people are staying for the blooming festival that includes the people that are coming to the leaf that we are going to take to our village. I don't want anyone to fight only protect this isn't our fight... the night he attacks before that we are leaving for Uzushiogakure the results of who made chunin would have already been announced it is the perfect time to go"

Everyone is nodding in agreement

"Now for the new people here" I motioned towards Neji, Lee and TenTen and Gai

"We will move to the village but we will not take off the protection over it, we will train and make upgrades to the village take small jobs, get ourselves known, get more alliances, our goal is to get enough alliances before we take of the protection and announce ourselves as an individual nation"

They nodded in understanding

"Alright this is the plan..."
