(Pete's Point Of View)
Did...did he just say Patrick was in a coma? Yeah, yeah he did. I still can't believe it, but I have to deal with it until he wakes up. If he ever wakes up. He will, I know he will. Patrick is the strongest person I know, he can get through anything and everything. He always looks at the bright side of things regardless of what it was, even in the insanity he has been in the past year. Now, I probably will never get to see my husband, awake, ever again.
"Guys, we've been hugging for an hour now am I can't feel my man parts." I mention laughing.
"Oh, that explains the awkward bump next to my leg." Joe says laughing getting off of us.
"Totally." I say rolling my eyes pushing Brendon off.
"Hey! I was very comfortable!" Brendon pouts.
"Oh Brendon." Sarah says pushing Andy off of her. She goes over to Brendon and sits on his lap.
"Uh, yeah I should get up too." Jordyn says letting go of me sitting up, helping me up in the process.
"Hey, uh, Jordyn?"
"Yes Pete?" She looks over at me.
"Would you like to go to dinner with me? I mean, it's the leased I can do for you because you've been such a big help." I tell her smiling.
"Sure!" She eclaims hugging me, "Besides, you don't have to do this."
I hug back, "I want to. There's a difference." I pull away from the hug and just look at her, "And to get our thoughts off of...Patrick." I start to tear up at his name.
"Aw! Pete!" She says hugging me again. "It will be okay, Patrick is strong enough to get through this. He will wake up."
"Yeah, but how long will that be?"
"I...I don't know Pete."
"Exactly. So, how about that dinner?" I ask pulling away from the hug, half smiling.
"Let's go."
"Okay, let's get to it then." I say standing up, helping Jordyn up as well.
"Hey, where you going?" Andy asked.
"Out to dinner." I answer.
"What?" Everyone questions.
"Not as a date dorks." Jordyn says laughing.
"Exactly." I agree.
"Oh. Okay. Get with it then." Sarah's says.
"Shall we?" I ask in a horrible British accent.
"Lead the way Mr.Stump." She says with a much better British accent.
I link arms with her and we both start skipping and singing, "We're off to see the wizard! The wonderful wizard of Oz!"
We skip and sing all the way through and out the hospital, to the car. We get weird looks, but who cares. I get in the driver's seat and she gets in the passengers. I start the car and we head off to wherever the hell restaurant we're going to.
In fifteen minutes, we arrive at Black-eyed Pea. Never tried it. Mostly because we don't know the area, got lost a thousand times and it looked good. I also didn't feel like driving anymore after like ten thousand miles. Exaggeration intended.
Oh, did I forget to mention? We are apparently living in Colorado now. How? I have no ducking clue. Yes, I just said ducking. Also, don't question how all seven of us ended up in Colorado, none of us know. Just go along with it because we're insane obviously. Oh! I remember now! We all decided to practically force Patrick on to a trip. We all packed random shit, went to the airport and said we wanted the next flight out to anywhere. So, we ended up here. Stayed here longer than intended, but oh well. Life happens. Duck life. Yes, Duck Life. Haven't you played that game before? Duck you too then!
