when the main character (usually a girl in the fanfictions i read) does NOT ACT her age!!11!!!1!!!!
like we have this girl that says she's like in her twenties, but she talks like my twelve year old little sister. she'll gossip like middle school students do. she'll dress as if her job does not care what she wears (this might just be me because usually when i read when a girl picks an outfit, its ugly or "omg im so tumblr")
this frustrates me. say your age, act your age. not the age of the author writing it
