it's when you're reading a good story, you know? the kind where even though you know the top of your phone says 3:47 a.m., you're going to finish the book bc you just have to, you have to know what happens.
everything's going nicely. the dialogue is great, the plot is thick and juicy, the characters are developing smoothly, and the way the book is set up is aesthetically pleasing.
until. . .
you come upon that one part THAT IS SO FUCKING CLICHE AND YOURE JUST LIKE NO WHY I TRUSTED YOU I BELIEVED IN YOU AND THIS IS WHAT I GET IN RETURN
and even though it's only for a moment, it makes you want to throw your phone like that one pizza roll on the plate that's still frozen in the middle.
