Donnie's POV

We were all just waiting around in Mikey's room for him to wake up. I stood next to the door, Leo sat right next to Mikey and kept an eye on him, and Raph stood against the wall staring at the desk. They were both really worried about Mikey. Not that I'm not, it's just that I know his wounds can't kill him and I'm more worried about his emotional state. I looked to Leo, he looked tired. Raph looked the same, and I probably did too.

"We should go and sleep for a bit." I told them.

"Are you crazy?! We're not leaving Mikey alone after all that just happened braniac!" Raph yelled, clearly frustrated about the whole situation.

"Keep it down will you? Look, I know you're frustrated because we can't do anything but wait for him to wake up. But just think about it Raph. He won't wake up for a while, and when he does we need to be able to think clear and help him." I told him sternly.

"How can ya even sa-" "He's right Raph." Leo interrupted him. He stood up from the chair he'd been sitting in for hours, and looked at us. "Mikey won't wake up for a while, and we're all still pretty shaken up. We won't do Mikey any good like this, so let's just get some rest." Leo told us and walked over to me by the door.

"Well then you can go and sleep for all I care, I'm staying here with Mikey incase he wakes up!" Raph said refusing to leave Mikey.

"You can't." I said.

"What?" He snapped.

"You can't stay here Raph, I hate to break it to you but when Mikey wakes up... I don't think it would be best for him to see you first. Not until we know what state he's in." I told him.

I looked as his eyes softened. He looked away and scoffed. He shot one last glance at Mikey before muttering something under his breath and walking out of the room. Me and Leo followed him and we all went to our rooms after agreeing to wake up early, to see Mikey before he wakes up and could do something rash. I lied down, and with everything that happened today swirling around in my mind it didn't take long for me to fall asleep.

Leo's POV

I walked into my room and let myself fall down on my bed. I still couldn't believe what just happened. I closed my eyes and immediately saw Mikey's empty eyes and smile again in my head. I wasn't about to go to sleep with pictures from today flooding through my mind.

I stood up, and walked out of my room. I didn't want to bring it up in front of Raph, but we still had to tell Master Splinter everything that was going on with Mikey. I sighed and walked passed the kitchen when a voice interrupted me.

"Where are you going?" I turned around and saw Raph leaning against the fridge glaring at me, with a glass of water in his hand.

"Not your business. And shouldn't you be sleeping?" I told him.

"Shouldn't you be sleeping too then?" He said and narrowed his eyes at me. "Are you gonna tell Master Splinter?"

I sighed. "Look Raph, Master Splinter needs to know. He probably already does anyway." I said, and began walking out of the kitchen. I was stopped by a firm hand being placed on my shoulder. I tried to yank my shoulder free, but Raph didn't let go.

"If he already knows, you don't have to tell him." He said through gritted teeth. I yanked my arm free and turned around to face him. How could he not see that Master Splinter needed to know this!
