it was never simple
it will never be
how can someone ever move on
from plans turned to could've been memories
a far-fetched reality became true
when we were together
now all that's left are unsaid words
and a tear-smudged letter
then you came crashing back
into the world you that you left me
and said the same promises
the same meant to bes
will i give you another chance
to love me again like you still do
because no matter how much i convince myself
i am not over you
it's impossible to be over you
