“This isn’t funny,” He informed me with a frown on his face.

“Oh come on,” I giggled. “I won’t do anything with anybody save for you and you know that.”

“But guys are going to try to-“

“Do you honestly think that I’ll let any guy touch me?” I wondered as the car stopped and everyone quickly filed out, probably fearing another explosive argument, like the one Todd and I had on Thursday where we were both violently screaming until our faces were red and it was just really bad.

“No, but-“

“But nothing,” I interjected, getting out of the car and pulling Todd out with me. Owen, who was driving, had already locked the doors and everything and everyone was already in the thumping house, which left me and Todd alone outside except for the few other partiers wondering around. “We’ll be at this party, like you wanted, and then we’ll go back to my house and have like, the hottest make out session ever because you’re my boyfriend and you’re the one that gets to see what’s under the dress.”

“That’s not much,” Todd pointed out. “Because it barely hides anything.”

I smirked at him before putting my lips on his, “You know you love it.”

He chuckled and then kissed me back, a little harder this time. “I do, but if anybody else touches you-“

“I’ll kick him in the throat,” I assured my jealous boyfriend- who clearly had nothing to be jealous about. He pissed me off, I retaliated. So that’s what he gets for saying something rude and stupid and getting me all worked up. I knew that I was overreacting by making him even angrier than he already was and I knew that I was instigating, but I just couldn’t help it.

Todd instigates my inner instigator.

So we went into the party and I didn’t leave Todd’s side for the longest time because I didn’t want him to worry about me getting lost and cornered with some pervert. We danced a lot with his hands on my hips as I grinded into him and then we danced front to front and sometimes without actually touching, but we didn’t do that a lot.

When we got thirsty, we’d go into the kitchen and get a drink but I’d just have a beer and Todd would take a few shots of some vile liquid so while I was only slightly buzzed, Todd was already wasted. Even so, no guy approached me, knowing that Todd was right there and they were all afraid of him, with him being so big and muscular and able to kick some serious butt.

We weren’t really dancing, but we were standing in the living room with the other people who were grinding and fist pumping, just kind of swaying and being too lazy to actually dance at all when Levi and John came over to us. I noticed John look me up and down and I was pretty confident that the only reason he was checking me out was because he was boldly drunk, but it was still awkward.

“Beer pong.” Levi stated simply over the music, talking to Todd. “Owen needs a partner.”

“What about Braeden?” I wondered, even though I wasn’t really part of the conversation.

Both Levi and John shrugged and then returned their attention to Todd. “Come on, hurry.”

I was pretty confident that he wasn’t going to leave me, considering how overly protective he was at the beginning of the night, but he surprised me by releasing my waist and following Levi and John away from me without even a goodbye. I knew that he was drunk and incoherent at the moment, but he could have at least kissed me goodbye or something before he ditched me.

I sighed loudly and then started a manhunt for Marnie but ended up in the kitchen with another beer, my third one, so I was only slightly more than tipsy, but I could still defend myself if I had to. I mean, the guys around here aren’t that creepy. Like, they are creepy and they’ll shamelessly stare and they’ll grab and grope, but once you say no, they’ll back off, so that was nice and not like the movies or anything. Anyway, my dress wasn’t the most revealing there and it’s not like I stood out against the crowd of other girls at all. Nobody actually touched me at all, though, and I was sure that it was because everybody knew that I was both Todd’s girlfriend and Owen’s sister. Both of them were over protective and both of them were pretty intimidating.
