After Namjoon and Taehyung had helped Hoseok set up the roof, the only thing left was to wait. He would have eaten some of the food they had brought him but he was afraid his stomach might betray him. So he waited.
He watched the sky while he waited. He watched the colors fade in and out of existence, watched the birds pass over and head to find places to rest, he watched the people down below him yell and bustle across the streets too fast for his liking.
He listened just as well. He listened to the wind rolling over him in a steady motion and twirling around his ear drums, he listened to the humming of the motor that was placed on the roof, he listened to the opening of doors and windows.
He listened and watched because he in his own way was preparing himself. Hoseok had come to terms with the fact that he would be listening and watching for the rest of his life. Listening and watching Jungkook.
