"Now give it up for our very own dance team!" The principle introduced us.
We all ran onto the field and took our places. Kate and I in front of everyone else.
"THAT'S MY GIRL" I heard Jackson shout.
I laughed and rolled my eyes as the music started. I focused on my moves and put my whole heart into it.
After our performance, the whole gym erupted in cheering. Jackson ran down and picked me up in a hug.
"I'm proud of you" He whispered.
After the pep rally, there was a party at Julie's house since her parents were away in Poland for two weeks in honor of our first performance. Basically the whole school went besides freshman
Kate challenged me to some shots. Jackson told me not to do it but ya know since when do I listen. I had 5 Jolly Rancher shots and damn they were good.
It was 3 am when we decided to go home. Jackson was our designated driver tonight so Kate decided to sleep over especially because we were both drunk.
"Carry me?" I asked Jackson as he opened my door.
"Fine"
He carried me upstairs and Alan carried Kate upstairs.
After he tucked me in and kissed my forehead they went home.
"We're gonna regret this in the morning aren't we?" Kate asked.
"Yup"
