Chap 10-Sickness

I dropped everything, grabbed Bella gently from Ethan, and quickly walked to her room to get her changed.

"Babe what happened?" Ethan came running in

"They got the results get the baby bag" I said quickly rushing to her dresser. I grabbed a white onesie with the writing "hello world" on it, with blue leggings with tiny golden bird prints and a big gold bow on the waist band, with a white hat the had a bow matching the pattern of the blue leggings. I dressed her up and me and my family plus the Dolan family went to the hospital

We walked inside the hospital and walked up to the lady behind the counter.

"Ah Mrs Johnson and Mr Dolan we were waiting for you. The doctor is in room P120"

"Thank you" we smiled and walked into the elevator with Bella in Ethan's arms in the car seat. The ride was silent. Our family's were already there waiting for us. The door opened and we rushed out. We finally made it to our room where the doctor was standing next to the bed writing away on her clip board. It was just me, Ethan, Bella, and the doctor. Everyone was waiting outside

"Hello" the doctor greeted us with a smile

"Hi" I said with no expression fearing the worse to come

"So I have you results...you might want to sit down for this" I knew something was wrong. Me and Ethan sat down with Bella on his chest
"After all the test we have run many times over and over and they all came out negative..." She looked at me in the eyes "your daughter has c-"

"Don't say it" I said looking down with tears in my eyes. My daughter has stomach cancer. Cancer...my little angel...

"I'm sorry but since you found it early we can preform surgery and remove it" she looked at me and Ethan

"S-surgery? But she's 3 weeks!" He said startling Bella which caused her to cry. I couldn't keep it in I started crying too and soon after Ethan was crying. I've only seen him cry once or twice.

"Would you like to inform the others?"

"Yes please can you call them in?" I looked at her trying my best to make out her blurry figure. They all walked into the room and sat down with us

"What happened?" Mason said

"Umm she H-has" I started crying again. Grayson walked over to me and hugged me.

"She has cancer.." Ethan says through his tears. The whole room filled with tears.

"No she's only three weeks" my mom said

"My baby girl no" Lisa came over to us and took her out of Ethan's hands

"My niece why! This isn't fair!" Mason yelled and walked out of the room. The others were too shocked to say anything. Me well my whole world fell apart

"Mel it's going to be ok" Maddie reassured me

"We always say that but nothing is ever ok now is it?" I basically screamed at her. Ethan grabbed me and hugged me rubbing my back

"It should have been me. Why my angel why!" I held his shirt tight

"Nothing would change if it was you don't EVER say that again" Ethan said looking into my eyes "i love you and I love Isabella we WILL get through this"

"I love you too..." I laid my head on his shoulder. After leaving the hospital we got into the car not saying a word to each other. We got home and everyone decided to come over. I went inside to my room and laid down on the bed with Bella on my chest. I was staring up at the ceiling when the door walked in.

"Sis?" Mason came and sat next to me

"Yeah.." I didn't look at him. I just kept rubbing her back and staring ahead

"She will get through this she's strong. You know how I know? Because YOU are her mother. You are the stronger person I have ever met you will get through this. You, Bella, and Ethan. And if you EVER feel like giving up remember you always have me, your family, and especially Ethan and Bella. They love you so much and you can't even give up on them" at this point I was in tears holding my daughter as tight as possible

"I love you too" I whispered

"I'll let you sleep" he got up and kissed my head "good night munchkin" and with that he left

"Good night" I whispered to myself. From outside I could hear muffled voices

"she's going to be ok and so are you" Mason said

"I know man I love her and bells so much I can't live knowing one of them is hurt"

I smiled to myself and drifted off to sleep with my baby in my arms.
