Chap 8-4give and 4get

--Melissa POV--
We all walked to the present table. There were so many. Gifts on the floor, under the table, and many stacked on top of each other.
(I'm gonna do all the gifts if you don't wanna read this part scroll down)

"Do OURS first!" Maddie screamed as she handed me a big bag. I giggled and Ethan and I looked through it. There were three pink, white, and sliver onesies. A box of tiny socks, and another box of head bands.

"Awww these are so cute!" We hugged them and moved on

"Mine next!" My mom screamed. We got a big box from my mom. We unwrapped it revealing a pink and grey stroller. I completely forgot we didn't get one

"Thank you ma" Ethan said hugging my mom as did I.

"Ours!" Mr and Mrs Dolan gave us a medium sized bag. We looked through it finding baby bottles, a pair of carter leggings and shirts, and many many hair accessories. We said our thank yous and moved on.

"Mineeee" Mason ran up to us with Kayla and handed us a box bigger than any other except the stroller. Inside was a new baby seat since the other one we borrowed, a couple of onesies, and A LOT of toys

"Mason!" I giggled holding up all the toys

"Yo Imma spoil my niece" he said

"Not as much as me" Ethan winked at me

"Ugh you guys shouldn't have done all this" I smiled at them. We carried on opening all the presents and enjoying our laughter. I went and put everything in her room. Moments later the door bell rang. I went and opened it

"What are you doing here..." I looked at my..dad

"I wanted to apologize" over the past months my dad has been trying to talk to me but I've been pushing him away. My friends and Ethan have been trying to convince me to forgive and forget but I didn't know. Mason forgave him and my mom doesn't talk to him. So I guess I have to do the right thing. I walked over to him and hugged him. He was stiff for a second and hugged me back. This hug felt so...right. Like a fathers hug should feel.

"I missed you so much daddy"

"I did too munchkin" I started softly crying from the name he called me

"Do you want to meet her..." I looked up at him

"More than anything in the world" he wiped my tear

"Come on then" Ethan said smiling in the door way leading the both of us to her room.

"Meet Isabella" I smiled at her

"She's beautiful" I caressed her cheek. I smiled and looked at Ethan who was smiling from ear to ear.

"Wanna hold her?" Ethan looked at him

"What if I broke her she's so tiny?!" My dad whispered

"You won't" I giggled and gently picked her up walking over to the chair "sit here" I smiled and he sat down. I gently placed her in his arms. He swayed back and forth gently watching her.

"My granddaughter" he whispered looking up at me. Everything felt so right.

--Isabella's POV--
My mommy put me in someone's arms. He called me his..."granddaughter" whatever that means. But he sounds old. His arms were hairy but it was ok. Oh no.. I could hear mommy crying. Wait it's happy tears! Daddy is hugging her from what I hear. This day couldn't get any better

--Melissa's POV--
After we put Bella back in her crib we walked out.

"I got you something if you don't mind..." My dad said

"Of course, you shouldn't have dad" he gently grabbed mine and Ethans hand and took us outside. He opened the door and there in front of me. A brand new car

"D-dad what is this" I looked at him

"This is yours" he smiled at me and threw a pair of keys at me. We finally had two cars.

"I love it!"

"I do too!" Ethan screamed like a little girl copying me as we ran over to the car checking it out.

"Thank you daddy" I hugged him and Ethan did the same

"Anything for my munchkin"
